Their wives want to change their looks....women dont like what makes men to be men.....for instance...no beard or stache...or the 2 of them wearing matching colors....pushing pastel colored strollers through the mall...and on and on/..
It seem that most women want their men to look like women....whats up with that?

Once we men have sex with a woman the whole thing changes and if we marry them on top of that they own us. Its very common for married men to recall the last BJ they got from their wife was when they were single.

Maybe most of the men you are talking about just have overly bossy, controlling women. Or maybe the men are not confident in themselves enough to dress the way they want to and put their foot down. This doesn't just happen to men. Some men try to make their wives into some other person too. I would suggest to stay away from the kind of woman. There are clues before marriage!!!

Gee, I dunno - Could-Be, The matching Plumage Thing - We're a couple; we're a match, we're matching... (NoT Particularly CrEAtiVe) Be a LOT more significant if they were CoOrdinated in analogous color harmony. Ha! Maybe the emasculation thing - Who CARES...
I still got a pretty good idea where my old bi/gay roomies are 20+ years later: College, Hovels and crap jobs w/ a house walking distance from the BaRs was fun.
Give it time - IF they're really friends instead of; aquaintances with whom I'm presently on good terms - They'll still be there; and for the most part, the itches will have faded...
Hey, its life and the ONLY constant is change.

I would never wear matching outfits with by husband- that is SOOOOOO dorky. Pastel-colored stroller? I've never even seen a pastel stroller, but baby strollers are for babies, so if it comes in pastel, then it comes in pastel.

I don't have any input on what my husband wears, other than buy him replacements when his get threadbare.

I would, however, draw the line at a mustache. It's not that I don't like how they look, I just don't like how they feel.

I dress my man because hre's color-blind. I don't know why a wife would want her husband to look like a woman. That seems to defeat the purpose of being straight, to me. I want my man to look like a man. Maybe your straight friends aren't entirely straight.

Edit: Not all women hate beards. I love it when my husband has this 5-day shave thing going on.

I've seen this kind of thing happen, even if it isn't completely universal. I don't think it's so much an enforced androgyny as much as it is a CONTROL issue. The tragic irony is that these women erase the original man they supposedly searched so hard for and fell in love with in the first place.

Have you actually seen any strollers recently? They're ALL dark/heavy colors.
I've NEVER once seen a newly married couple dress alike...EVER.
Oh and about the facial hair thing....trust me...women HATE SANDPAPER! Our skin is more delicate and sensitive, you might like a sandpaper facial, but I can tell you as a woman...I don't!
Have you been hanging out with those elderly folks in Boca or something? Because I've never seen what you're describing.

If I were to be in a long term relationship with a guy, I would never want him to wear pastels! The only guys I like are geeks and tattooed freaks.

Not me, I like guys in baggy jeans and t-shirts. Once in a while it is nice to see them dressed up, but if a guy dresses in form fitting slacks and looks all metro sexual all the time, he's not the type of guy I go for.

Because it's unpleasant to kiss a man with facial hair. It's scratchy and irritates my face!
