Hey guys, I'm seeing this guy (on and off) for a few years and he's really competitive. Like for instance, I have a 4.0 gpa. and he has a 2.8, so in order to out do me in other aspects, he'll be like "oh look i scored more than you here. guess im better"... im sure he's not kidding because of the way in which he says it. I got accepted to college and he didn't.. so he's mad at me for that. sometimes, he'll just randomly say on the street "see, that guy checkin me out.. he's not even lookin at you.. haha" or something. Is he that insecure or im looking way too much into it?

My wife and I have gotten this question before, or had people guess that she's "the man." (She's more butch than I am.) We can't stand it. We usually snarl out, "Neither". (Or if it's "Who's the wife?", we snarl, "Both!")

I was reminded of this by the latest Miss Manners, in which a gay man asks about a response to that question.

Do you get that question? If so, how do you handle it?

i alraedy posted this question but i didn't get enough answers 2 make a valid decision, so here it goes:

i need help. i'm 15 and an out and proud gay male. i have a crush on this guy at skool who i (as well as many other ppl) have suspected 2 be gay as well or at least bi. he has so many feminine qualities yet he likes girls. i've also noticed out of the corner of my eye that he stares at me in classes (i'm not much of a looker but i'm the only out gay guy at my skool). and 2 day, i put on eye liner and some nail polish (just 4 fun) and i have never done it b4. this morning, when he saw me, he had this look on his face: it was a mixture of shock and something else. something that looked like interest or even curiosity. idk wat 2 do anymore. should i go up and ask him out, or wait 4 him 2 come 2 me if i am right (i could b wrong).

Seriously? Isn't it crazy that we're actually having this debate? South Africa recently passed a county wide recognition of gay marriages. This is South Africa for crying out loud. Apartheid only ended in that country like 10 years ago.

In the 90's one of the biggest issues was abortion, pro-life v.s. pro-choice activists outside the clinics with signs and all that. Now that that issue has somewhat been weened off society, the gay marriage debate is the "in" issue. Homo/heterosexuals stand outside the church (so to speak) demanding rights. Basically making gay marriage the new abortion of the millenium.

so i told my friend who I'm secretly in love with that i have this movie loving anabelle. she asked me what it's about. I told her and i said it was dumb because I didn't want her to know I'm a lesbian. But even after that, she said she wanted to watch it. then at the store last night we were trying on lotion. i got extra and so i offered it to her. her hands were full so I swiped my finger on her hand. i wanted to rub it in but was too nervous. she laughed and said I held her hand like it was a chicken leg. and then rubbed it in herself. In the car we were talking about how these days you don't have to work hard for a first kiss anymore. people give it up too easily and sleep together right away. she said, for christians no sex before marriage. I said your not supposed to, she said her church is pretty strict on that. but she didn't say she's strict. so i'm wondering, what is your take on her? Is she trying to tell me something. why is she always mentioning this stuff to me?

Ok i joined a new gym recently and i really didnt notice the staff that worked the front desk for a while. But 1 day i noticed one of the Staff( a very Cute Girl) staring at me. Honestly at first i thought she hated me or something so id kinda stare back angrily. SO i use to go like every day wit my friends and evry day i notice the second I walked in she lock eyes wit me. So this continued for a while me thinking she hated me till one day i askd her for my id which i had to give for a reason, it was a Totally cute picture of me when saw it smiled wit a cute smile n handed it to me. SO then i was like wow i dont think she hates me. then it all changed id get nervous every time id come around her. I askd my friends if they noticed her looking just so i knew it wasnt in my head n to see if she looked at any other one like that. They said wow u got a problem cuz shes so checkn u out she doesnt even look at anyone else, but she never talks to me just stares me upNDown why wont she talk2me

I hate going to hairdressers who constantly try to make conversation with me. I'm there to get my hair cut, not to make small talk. Why do hairdressers always want to know about their customers. Obviously I know it is to make the customer feel more comfortable, and thus more likely to return. But not all customers want to talk, and thus I would like to know how hairdressers feel when their customers do not want to talk. I am quite shy and find it difficult to maintain converstaions. Although I am perfectly happy to sit in silence whilst having my hair cut, I feel uncomfortable when hairdressers constantly try to make converstaion with me. If I feel that they are not uncomfortable then I am fine. I think men are lucky when they go to the hairdressers/barber because I think with men there is no pressure for the barber or customer to make small talk. They can go in there have a hair cut and not expect to interrogated about their life!!

I have known this guy for 9 years & he has always made it known to his family, friends, etc. that he is n love with me & wants 2 marry me. Up until that point we have never been intimate or anything. It has been strictly friendship. He never dealt with any other women and had abstained from sex. About a year ago I moved 2 minutes from him and we got closer & we started dating. However the relationship was strange to me. He lived with his family but he never wanted to spend time with me alone. He never wanted to stay the night at my apartment. I always had to pack my clothes up on the weekend and stay with him and his family. We had very little sex but during the course of our intimacy I got pregnant. I thought his behavior was because of his culture "Hispanic" (real family oriented) or because he had an extremely small package or he was a chronic mama's boy. Now I have a 2 month son and I am trying to figure out what's his deal? Is he trying to suppress some homosexual desires?

I was watching the O'rilley factor last night and he reported on a controverseyin my state New Jersey. A lot of parents were upset that their children in the third grade were shown a video on the different types of families in our country and same sex parents were featured! Now i am gay an i think that the ages of 8 and 9 are to young to introduce to such a complex issues. What do you think?
