This is 2006-- shouldn't homosexuality be accepted by Republican leadership?

okay i posted this somewhere that I have a freind who is a homo, I don't have any problem with him, ^.^ am i a good friend? well recently he been abused by people who hate homo and he been absent from school for 2 weeks already i came over to visit him thought he is sick but he was perfectly fine...........he just don't want to go to school because he got abused, I'm going to hit those knucklehead with my purse someday! anyway...he been failing classes, I tried to conviced him that nothing is wrong with Homo, he is Christian by the way and he said he is a sinful person he deserve to go to hell, omg................No offense but i said religion is just there to teach you to be a good person...the people that wrote the bible is just human.............He been trying to be straight by going out with girl but he just not attracted to her....but more to her brother >.< he can't control his sexuality.........he don't even got turn on by nude girl....what should i do? no hateful reply please!

All of the gay people that I have met seem to be just that - gay. They can crack on you in a heartbeat, but I haven't met any mean gay people yet. I know that's kinda prejudice, even if it's in a nice way. Just wondering if anyone have had the same/different experience.

Kitty names?
I know this will sound wierd. I have 2 female cats, black and white (shown in my display pic). I have had them for about 5 months. I tried to name them. Any other pet I had named itself by personality. These won't. I can't name them something that doesn't suit them. Maybe I'm trying too hard. Or maybe a few suggestions would help. Thanks.

I have a curious questions. Today we use the words gay, homosexual, lesbian, etc. Back in the day the word gay use to mean happy or glad. What were gay people called back in the 1800's, 1700's and so on and so forth? Is this too weird a question?

i am a straight mother of three and i completely support gay rights!!! my explanation to my then 5 year old daughter was that god made us to love who we wish to love and that only our heart decides who we have feelings for. i told her young so that she wouldnt be shocked, or before she hears something offensive regarding gay people.but i also told her that although i support gay rights she can make up her own mind. she supports gay rights as well,but i just want to know,what do you think is the youngest you woulld explain homosexuality to your child(wether you support it or not)

There is a lot of things about my son that I love and I want to understand him better. He is really into wearing women's clothes. But he has girlfriends. The other day one of his friends informed me that the hickey he had on his neck wasn't from his girlfriend but from a guy friend. I identified as a lesbian up until recently... I'm not super-butch and I have a lot of "girly" interests (such as the muppets), but I like to dress in guys clothing, and I always feel good if I get mistaken for a man. I get kind of a high from doing drag. I've even chosen a male name for myself and I like it much better than my real name. Also, I feel like I kind of want to be "the man" in a relationship. The only thing is I don't think I want surgery or hormones... I'm more or less comfortable with my physical body.

So... what does that make me, then?

I love this guy so much but i cant ever tell him because im not openly bi . But he is straight it sucks i will never have a chance with him and wont even be able to tell him what should i do.
