All of the gay people that I have met seem to be just that - gay. They can crack on you in a heartbeat, but I haven't met any mean gay people yet. I know that's kinda prejudice, even if it's in a nice way. Just wondering if anyone have had the same/different experience.

You posted that question with good intentions. So thanks, I appreciate you trying to make a statement that all gay people are nice. The reality is that there are plenty of gay people who are mean, just as there are plenty of straight people who are mean. Sexual orientation doesn't affect niceness or meanness.

I have met some pretty bombastic, mean gay people in my time who feel they are too non mainstream in society to deign to talk to the ordinary folk. Basically, anyone can have any combination of personality traits. There are plenty of nice gay people, but it's hard to make widesweeping generalizations about any group of people, though human nature makes us all do this subconsciously, which I think is why our society is sort of in the soup.

Well, seeing as gay people come from every religion, race, creed, and age group there are bound to be mean ones....however we face so much persecution in daily life that most of us have learned to make life fun so that it is worth living with all the bashers

I have met a couple of gay guys that were aggressive and demanding and I am not gay.
I met the first one in my early teens and he was in his mid-forties. He demanded that I submit to his sexual aggressiveness by performing oral sex on him and submitting to anal sex. I did neither.
The second individual I met as an adult. He used the aggressive approach also. I had no sexual contact with him, either. This was in the military. He was an officer and I was enlisted. He tried to to have me punished for not following orders but had several complaints on him for his homosexual advances. He was subsequently retired from the military with all rights and privileges as he was a close relation to an individual high in the government who did not want his political career marred by publicity about this relative.

I have met some pretty surly gay guys in my time. Most of us usually are pretty cheerful and that is probably how the term "gay" came to mean homosexuals.

I really don't know many mean people, and would never take the time to learn their sexual orientation! So who knows?
In general, the few gay people I know seem nice enough, but then most people are.

Gays and dogs can get mean if they don't have a regular bone to chew on. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Or anything odd to sniff at.

The mean gay people I know are the ones that talk about other people. they reveal other peoples secrets and make jokes on about their clothes or looks. The mean gay people act like your average *****....of course.

No.. I have not met any nasty/mean gay men but.. YES but have meet many horribly mean lesbians and they can really be bitches when they want to be
