I saw a recent interview with him, and he was asked that question. He got very upset with the interviewer. He doesn't feel his sexual preference or his private life should be an issue, and he's didn't answer.
SO, when he's ready to come out of the closet, he will. If he doesn't, it's his choice. Do I think he's gay? Hell yeah.

Does it really make a difference in your ( or my ) life if Clay is gay? The guy is a talented artist, and his sexual orientation has no bearing on his music. Elton John is gay and has done a lot of great music and nobody seems to care and how about that guy with 2 first names George Micheal?
