I guess it would all depend on what you expect out of your date. If getting to "third base" is the desire, I seriously doubt you would it would even occur to you that the person might be gay. Certainly there would have been a "spark" between you prior to anything serious happening.

I am going to assume that YOU are a gal and the person you are dating is a guy....
Try to go to a nice restaurant but choose a table where the waiter is a handsome guy.. If he looks a lot at the waiter, then he is probably gay.... Go into a bar.. if he pays more attention to the guys than you.. then he is gay

Why are you dating someone whose sexuality is in question?Why date someone whose affections you do not trust?Project your doubts onto him and you will lose him. A judgemental mind such as yours deserves to be alone.Test your own prejudices and not his sexuality.

that is a tough one. i guess sexual encounters and the way they act towards you! if they are making jealous comments towards you. They act mysterious.

If he acts really effeminate, and checks out guys with you, then chances are that he's gay.
