Sorry but we just do not have enough space HERE to discuss the whole thing so I will be brief... I am totally against the idea of marriage. I firmly believe that marriage is between a female and a male and that is that

I am definitely in favor of Gay marriage.
Over the centuries, marriage has been transformed from a contract for securing and transferring property to a chalice for containing love. This change has yielded multiple outcomes.
Take the divorce rate. We hope and pray that love will continue to grow, but when love suffers, dies, and resists resurrection, we have come to accept that divorce is an inevitable outgrowth, an acknowledgment that the chalice has broken. No legislator would dare propose a constitutional amendment banning divorce in order to protect the institution of marriage. The distress born of a relationship without love is often too painful to endure, and on many occasions, divorce has shown itself to meet the needs of our current society. As such, it has grown into a sad but accepted part of the human equation.
Marriage has been and still frequently is an arena for raising children, but now, in our lengthened years, child-rearing comprises only about half of marital life that, for the lucky, can last 40 or more years. (For those who enter second marriages, the proportion of years spent raising children together is frequently even less). Those who are blessed with long marriages find that they spend most of their married years with empty nests.
And, indeed, for many the choice not to marry, even after bearing children, has become grudgingly accepted in most parts of society.
The inclusiveness of marriage has also changed. In parts of this country laws once prevented any persons whose skin tones did not match from marrying. (Did you ever see the musical “Showboat”?) While many individuals still cringe to see interracial marriages, the larger society has decreed it will not prevent their exercise of personal liberty.
Compared to these changes, allowing gay or lesbian couples to marry constitutes a minuscule adjustment. Marriage and its meaning have already undergone much more massive revisions. Those who balk at gay marriage, while genuinely trying to preserve what they believe is an institution at risk, have failed to notice that marriage is already adapted to meet our current needs. When gay and lesbian couples’ wish to establish a marital bond of commitment and fidelity, they in truth more fully ratify marriage as a vibrant and life-affirming institution than locking them outside the gates ever could.

I like being married...my wife and I are very happy. We support each other and care for each other. Our families love us. We are not hurting anyone. Why do people want to take that away?

No they do not and should not have that priveleage of marriage. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman for the sole purpose of creation. Homos cannot create. Marriage is also a christian based union. Homos are not christian. And no..going to church, reading the bible, being nice, etc. does not make you a christian. Just leave marriage alone please. Its very insulting to my beliefs for homos to barge in.

Homosexuals should be allowed to teach kids that low morals and promiscuous sexual contact is OK.
