Hi I personally have nothing against them, I am happy for them!
But my husband hates them, I ask why and he says because its nasty and most of them have aids.
Well hey look tell your gay friend -who cares what people think, just love the people who hate you because they are the ones going to hell, not you hunn.

As soon as homosexuals choose to be who they really are, social persecution sets in. This is inevitable because there will always be people out there who would react negatively to things they do not understand. Don't fret, though. For there are also people who will help your friend out, just like you. Your friend needs your support right now. There are also support groups that he can go to. You're really an admirable person for being there for your friend during this difficult time. Best of luck to both of you!

I'm personally am not against them, it's the way they were born, and you shouldn't make fun of someone because they were a bit different than you are.. people are jsut afraid of what they don't know.

Usually, god tells them it's OK to act that way towards him. And it's still socially acceptable most places. Can't do that anymore with blacks and Jews, but you can still get away with it where gays are concerned. Even the president of the USA does it, so it must be OK.

Those people are ignorant and scared because they choose not to learn and understand. For an example, look at how people stare and point at mentally retarded people. They don't understand them either and are scared. It may be hard but just ignore them. If you say something it will just prove that they got to you.

some people make fun of "GAY" people because they're "different" and so they personally don't have a grude against him per se (probably not anyway) but he's different so he's the"odd one out" so people tease him

Unfortunately, someone has to be the scapegoat in society. First it was blacks, then it was women....now it happens to be gay people.

I don't know. It's disgusting that otherwise normal people are so quick to oppress homosexuals. They're people like everybody else. Why they should be be omitted from the constitution (all men created equal) is beyond me.
