Yes it is.

Yes, because it's possible that a commonality of interests and feelings of great trust could transcend gender, and forge as powerful a bond as a strong sexual attraction might start to forge under more traditional circumstances.

But if the attraction between the males WAS based on sexual feelings, then there had to be a gay component there, even if not as high on the Kinsey scale to be noticeable until the right person triggered the desires.

And witness the alleged affair between Cary Grant and Randolph Scott, who were both extremely handsome and clearly attracted to each other, as they in fact remained housemates for years despite, and indifferent to, the rumors thus fomented.

Whether Grant considered himself gay is doubtful, as he certainly fell hard for his various leading ladies, especially Sophia Loren. It's more likely that beautiful people just like that particular quality in both males and females a lot more than the rest of us might.

it depends on what kind of love you mean. if you mean you are interested in someone of the same sex as a lover and partner, you need to reconsider your sexual identity. if you mean you fell in love with someone of the same sex in a nonsexual way, meaning, you love them and would do anything for them and want them to be happy but could never think of having sex with that person, sure, it happens all the time. people generally do love their best friends (ever heard the saying "love ya like a sister"?) ps-there is nothing wrong with being gay. if you are, you are, and you can't change that any more than a straight person could become gay. it just doesn't work that way. we are all born with our sexual orientation, even if it takes decades to work out what it is. good luck...

There are many types of love. If you love some one of the same sex, it could be a friendship love or a family love or the kind of love you share with someone that you belong with. Names and labels don't control anyone. Don't put yourself in a label. I agree with J3nn

Certainly! I believe that even after you fall in love with that member of your same sex, you can still identify as straight, still love and be sexually aroused by the opposite gender, but be completely satisfied, body and mind, with the person you've fallen for.

Love is gender blind!

Oooh ya - and it's strange (in a good way) when you realize it. Whether feelings are reciprocated or not, you learn something about yourself. As it is important that you're not confusing love with admiration or gratitude, it's equally important that you're not denying that you're in love. Listen to your heart babe, and great things will happen.

I HAVE HAD FEELINGS THAT WAY TOWARD A FRIEND OF MINE AND EVENTUALLY WE ACTED UPON IT AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. BUT AS FAR AS A RELATIONSHIP IF YOU ARE A JELIOUS PERSON IT IS HARD TO MAKE SAME SEX RELATIONSHIP WORK...
