Anyone got any advice on how to meet peeps in the West Midlands, ideally Birmingham, Worcester, Redditch area - I have had my fill of the ''scene'' and Gaydar is full of lesbians that have done everyone esle on there........

Pls, sensible, no attitude answers. I don't mean to offend but have been readin questions and answers on here for a while and some seem to delight in being horrid - I'm sure you know the culprits I speak off

If you read my other question a few days ago, I thought i would give an update. (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Au6BRfhMBZgDdU8SXgKThnLsy6IX?qid=20061003133538AAwnrDh )
I was speaking with her in a group today, and I found out that she wasnt at all gay. She apparently has a crush and the others were teasing her. It was devestating. I hope they didnt notice I was acting wierd after them having fun teasing her. I just didnt know what to say and just sat there listening and thinking. How much does that suck? But I cant stop thinking about her. I think I have gone mad.

I think I only appeal to men, because I'm very volupootus and outgiong and I sometimes get mumbers from guys daily. I think a lot of women don't like me because I'm suppose to be "sexy" No women approach me. I don't get it.

Clause or Different name for marrige wich allows the same rights?

Our Country is having problems with the Term Marrige (and the religious implications), I am christian yes but I don't see the point in discrimination no one is here for me to judge.

I am aware that as a straight person I can marry who I want so please I ask don't come on here and tell me what I already know.

.This question was promted by the latest ruling in California that Baned homosexual Marriges. Is there any other solution other than appealing until all of you are are doing Geriatric exercises on the Discovery channel

But if it was named something else. I know there are Civil Unions and Partnerships in that fight to create the same rights as a married couple with a different name. As long as The Word Marrige is the term, it's going to be like ice skating uphill for you Guy's/ Gals. A little progress here and there for you guys but probably never enough.

Hi,
I have a problem (not a big problem). In my surrounding, there are 4 women which I get upset off in their company. (They are all dominant women). 2 of them never did something to me, their a bit weird or dumb, but 2 others added insult to me. If I play tennis against them I feel so upset, I often start to cry (while they aren't mean to me that moment) but they emit (?) a sphere around them which I can't deal with. I can't concentrate myself any longer and feel myself very very worse.

Do more lesbians have this problem with other women? Of course, I almost never see these women, but if I met them, I can't act normal (and no, I absolutely don't feel attracted by them)

i think the fact that it's illegal is so ridiculous. is this not like racism? YOU CAN'T DRINK FROM THE SAME WATER FOUNTAIN AS US, YOU CAN'T RIDE ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE BUS AS US? is this not the same sh*it? i will be doing alot of research and i'll be getting the divorce rates over the years. there are so many more important issues in the world, and people won't let gays marry? why!? because of religion? we all love God, ok, but those people are just plain crazy. get a fkn grip! i think they're mainly uneducated, and what you don't know scares you. i think ppl are just horrified of butt sex! what we do in bed is OUR business ahhh! lol i'm getting really worked up over this, and i think my paper will stirr up alot of sh*it in my class! pls anything i could include in my paper will be SO APPRECIATED!

Just because my hair is pink and I wear an earring doesn't make me gay ok? I was raised by 6 sisters and I may act like a girl at times but I'm not and I'm not gay. I have gay friends but that doesn't make me gay, so stop calling me gay.

So I'm not really out at work, no need to be right? Not!!! I have a few friends at work who know that I am gay and living with my fiancee, however my boss and my direct superiors do not know. I'm getting married in approxiametly 6 months and I really want to just let it be known that I'm getting married. I will no longer be the single girl at work with no kids. However my problem is this, when I first started working here I heard my boss say some derrogatory things about gays so I never told her of my sexual orientation, but now that I am getting married I want the world to know, just like when heteros get married. What should I do?

Why do woman who have been married before to a male, and presently have a girlfriend....claim to be STRICTLY a lesbian? Why do they not claim to be bisexual? They will even have children-made the old fashion way, and still claim to be strictly lesbian. How is that possible? A growing number of women are denouncing the fact that they have ever been with men, and chalk it up as a "childhood mistake" or they will say, "oh I was trying to please my family", this crap doesn't make sense to me. First of all I hate the idea of labels, but if one must label themselves, call it like it is: a person who is attracted to both sexes is a bisexual, why do they claim anything else? I need clarity.....
