Anyone got any advice on how to meet peeps in the West Midlands, ideally Birmingham, Worcester, Redditch area - I have had my fill of the ''scene'' and Gaydar is full of lesbians that have done everyone esle on there........
Pls, sensible, no attitude answers. I don't mean to offend but have been readin questions and answers on here for a while and some seem to delight in being horrid - I'm sure you know the culprits I speak off

I'm about 30 miles north of Birmingham. I don't tend to do the scene. Groups and teams would prob be your best bet. Some of my friends play in a girls football team in Sutton. They always have a good following.

awww man, i answered this question about a fortnight ago lol.
ok, here goes (me fish fingers are getting cold mind)....
try to find some interest groups, maybe online. birmingham is cosmopolitan and a big place, so maybe you can find a gay ramblers group, or lesbian stonewall dyking team? gets you out in the open air aswell.
there could be gay sports teams, such as womens footy, or maybe chess or trivial pursuit? or a sushi society?
also, av known people meet decent partners online, but it can be like looking for a golden needle in a haystack full of rats, so if you're not lucky str8 away, persevere. but be careful, as not all nutters are as friendly as i am.

Try the Damron Guide.Even though it is called a "travel Guide" you can find listings for gay places to meet people in your town or near your town.And the listings are very descriptive as to what you are looking for and what kind of people you're hoping to meet.
