Just because my hair is pink and I wear an earring doesn't make me gay ok? I was raised by 6 sisters and I may act like a girl at times but I'm not and I'm not gay. I have gay friends but that doesn't make me gay, so stop calling me gay.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, people will assume it is a duck.

If you look gay, and act gay, people will assume you are gay.

This is the way of the world. You can fight it all you want, but you will not change mankind. But you can change yourself. Try dark red hair instead of hot pink.

Because they have been poisoned by TV stereotypes. Everybody has their gay moments, everybody has their straight moments. It's the way things are. As far as these assholes are, **** 'em. If they're going to be idiots, cut them off from you like you would a cancerous tumor.

You are what is deem the gay straight man. If you are CUTE, there is no telling them. Just learn new creative ways to let them know, but they will never leave you alone. MEN are very persistant. I'm a woman, I know.

Just be comfortable with yourself and who cares what other people think? Gay people and any people that are different have to deal with this harassment all the time. If you don't want to have to deal with comments, just try to be as bland as possible and no one will notice you!

You know what? Don't fight it. Don't even make it a point to argue. Don't let it bother you. Take it as a compliment as most gay men have a sense of style and are more sensitive than the average Neanderthal... Leave it at that. If you don't let it bug you, they won't keep teasing.
Good luck.

and straight people don't call you gay? you've ascertained the folks calling you gay ARE gay, in every instance? i'm not sayin' it doesn't happen, but, when i had long hair, and, er, wore dresses (i'm not gay, either!), STRAIGHT people called me gay - homosexuals knew i was not, or, at least, asked.
