a gay person, or that you were percieved a lesbian or a gay person? How did you recover from a tragic event like that? Are there people here who beat up someone because they thought that the person was a lesbian or gay person? Transgendered people, are you often victims of violence as well? I can't imagine someone wanting to assault a lesbian. Cases of violence against lesbians should be nonexistent. Gay people are the most loathed, singled-out group in the world, so I can see how it can happen to them. Also, do cops and/or other professionals of authority (like ambulance, fire fighters, etc.) escalate and perpetuate violence and persecution toward gay people?

Only asking because I want to meet guys, but don't want to wear an "I'm Bi" shirt. Just wondering if most gay and bi men and women would pick up on that.

How do you think we are going to be looked at in the next 25 to 75 years? Eventually, we would be accepted and considered the same as every other group, wouldn't we?? Or will it get worse? I'm 20, and I know it's easier to be gay now then it was two decades ago, but I would like to hear some other opinions.

...add "not that there's anything wrong with it"

Could someone help me understand this please? Doesn't having to defend it every single time speak of its guilt?

they showed two identical twin brothers, one of them gay one of them straight. it had nothing to do with nuture, they were simply born that way. there was another set of fraternal twins, probably about 6 years old. one kid believes that he is supposed to be a girl. he plays with dolls, and has no problem with any of it. the other boy loves trucks and video games.

check out the link, i would love to hear people's reactions to it!

nothing nasty please..i would like for this to be a civil discussion

I am a gay male 16 years, and recently moved schools, and there is this guy, who is gay, and is so hot, and he keeps staring at me all day, should I fall for him? He keeps trying to talk to me, but I really want to focus on my studies, I get good grades, and don't know if I would still if I were dating someone. I need some advice, I know we only live once, but is it worth it?

too many people are bashing christians for what they believe, I don't agree with making people feel inferior to our beliefs but some of us are trying to keep the multitude who are chosen from going to hell, I don't want to go alone

Are you all trying to get a non-religious civil union legal for gays or are you trying to make it so that a church must marry a gay couple if they want to be married?

I hear about girls who are attracted to transexual men and live a lesbian lifestyle as a result, is this true or just the makings of good television?

I've been with a few lads but never really clicked with any of them, even if they were good looking! I really like one of my friends but he's straight. He's really attractive and has been with lots of women, but earlier in the year I saw a video of him on a friend's phone and he was saying he was bi-curious and wondered what it'd be like with a man, but didn't know if he'd ever try it. To meet you'd think he was gay, everyone does, it's a common mistake to make! I've really fancied him since Christmas but he doesn't know obviously!! He knows I'm gay and we go out everywhere together.

I just want to know one thing... How to get over him??!! It's probably just a silly crush but I still get jealous when he's with his 'women'. I'm like a love sick teenager! lol. Do you think I'd forget about him in 'that' way if I went with a few blokes? I keep turning blokes down just cos I want to spend my time with this friend.

(She pulled the ability to post replies on top of all of it, so I didn't have much other choice.)

Conservative estimates place child sexual abuse at 1 in 6 for girl and 1-8 for boys by the time they are 18. The estimate ranges from mild fondling to rape. IT IS ALMOST ALWAYS COMMITTED BY FAMILY OR CLOSE FAMILY FRIENDS. Virtually ALL sexual child abuse is committed by STRAIGHT men. Even the mentally ill sicko pedophiles identify as straight in adult relationships.

If you are so dam concerned about children, get educated, off your a$$ and involved in your community.

Your bs rant in LGBT makes you look like a sick, ignorant fool.

It's off the LGBT marriage subject, but fvck, that bs she spouted is way too much. Do you think she'll get the point?

I'm bisexual and I'm not sure if I should be glad, sad, angry, or what. I have always wanted to just be normal and to not stand too far out in the crowd and it seems like I'm cursed into feeling something I used to think was so wrong.

I'm really scared to share my orientation with others. I'm scared I'll be rejected. I'm scared I'll be judged. I don't want people to think of me as a lesser person because of the way I feel. You see all of these people, I do often in school, who call people gay and it's considered an insult.

I don't think I can come open with that. I'm really scared that everyone will make fun of me and I'll never have a life again.

Is there an easy way to live with myself without having to supressing my desires and being a complete laugh at school? I can't change the way I feel; if I could, I would have by now... I'm so scared, I can't even play sports because I'd never be able to be focued on the game; I'd be staring at one of the players.

Any suggestions??

So I was totally in love with the show "Work Out", but I think everyone who saw it can see that Jackie's girlfriend Mimi is F*CKING NUTS. It was awesome to see Jackie finally dump her a$$ in the finale. I was just reading on another site that they got back together... WTF?? Can anyone else confirm that? That is messed up if it is true.
