I didn't just fall off a turnip truck, but until this week I've never seen a white pumpkin. Is this a new breed of pumpkin? Have they been hiding in a pumpkin patch all these years? Do they only grow in certain places? Are these albino pumpkins; oh, no, they have no eyes or I would see that the eyes were pink. What's up with these white pumpkins?

Friend of mine used to say "Stay black" to his goth friends as a conversaion closure (like "peace out" or something like that). It seems kinda funny that white people can say "stay black" and mean it as in evil/dark or goth-black rather than African (American) black.

What do you think?

IT seems that if any calling in my family is done, it is me that calls. IF any visiting is done, it is me that pays the bills to fly to the East coast, rent a car, do all the driving to and fro...I have two grown sons who say they love me...yet it is always me that flies to see them, it is always me who flies to see my grandkid, it is always me who does everything to keep in touch. IF I stop calling, I will get a call in about 6 months to see if anything is wrong. I have lived here for 12 years, and in that time, I have recieve exactly one visit from my sons (each). It has suddenly dawned on me that just perhaps, family contact is not nearly as important to them as it is to me. All my life, I have been the one who does the calling...my parents, my kids, my grandchild. IT has always been me who does the flying, etc. And, truthfully, I am feeling tired of all of it. My kids make plenty of money, and have a bank of excuses why they cannot do this, that, or anything but what suits them.

You ever wake up and say to yourself "I'm tired of all these medications, today is not a good day to take any". I only have two to take, but they are for the rest of my life. I feel for those that have to take 5 or 6 or more. So some mornings I look at the medication and say NOT. And I put it back. Although my medication is like being on easy street. I have a brother who has it really bad. He jokes about making a cocktail.

Like they agree to have heard any news about or any english song (even if they havn't sometimes) but they'll always say no for any hindi one as if knowing it'll put them down. I think they must learn to respect their country and people before claiming themselves to be patriots. They just blindly think that people in the west are modern so they'll always be right and its cool to be like them. According to me if you think there's anything wrong then you must try to correct it instead of trying to show that you're not related. That's gross and double standard.

Is someone with anxiety normal, because they worry too much.
Is someone suicidal normal, because they're just going through hard times, having a rough day, or just too much too handle.
Is someone paranoid normal, maybe they have psychic abilities and are afraid, not knowing how to accept it.

Is this person capable of working even if he or she is battling with their emotions, challenging their symptoms to become a productive citizen.

Visiting the city next week and there's just hundreds of sites with hundreds of bars on them and I'm looking for some personal recommendations.

Bars and clubs, anyone know any good ones? Looking for somewhere with a nice vibe, with like 20s 30s crowd. Not too mental cause I've to go with my str8 mates.

Thanks for the help!

Where is racism first learned from: parents, the media, or history?

In September 1992, I went to a predominant white public school, beginning the sixth grade. I recall this one day my mother dropped me off at school. As I walked towards the flagpole, this group of white children shouted out ‘Chink’ to this Asian family dropping off their children. As the parents of that family drove away, those mean white children spit on their car and pulled their eyes to the side, telling the family to go back where they came from.

I was disturbed to see this one naïve 12-year-old white girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, and freckles participate with that ignorant crowd. A month ago, she had given a speech in front of her class titled “Why Diversity is Important” and won an award for it. This girl was a third generation Swedish-American girl who spoke about her ancestors coming to America, learning to make friends with people of different colors.

She doesn't go out with guys. She is very butch in her way of dress. She only has girlfriends and roommates. She only has 3 male friends including myself the other 2 she works and goes to school with. I think she thinks I'll treat her differently if she opens up. I don't know what to do about it. She would still be my friend no matter what but I feel like her not telling me means she doesn't trust me as much as I trust her.

It seems that we have become the getto rap generation. We expect and feel a man should treat us badly. Most women are in jail/prison because they were doing something for their man.
