christians in african countries marry the same as Christians world over,same goes for muslims.
Traditional marriages differ from one ethnic group to another,different countries to another also different regions to another.
In some places couples may have both a christian and traditional or a muslim and traditional.
In my ethnic group community traditional weddings are a very elaborate process,there is a lot of courtship involved between the families of both spouses.The grooms family generally have to come up with a dowry which these days is not a monetary price put on the bride but a token of their willing to "give up" some of their weallth to the brides family,better put as a representation of the grooms ability to "financially take care of "their daughter.
Let me say one thing though,you really don't need a penpal or visit africa to learn the culture,look around you there are plenty of africans in the U.S. if you really want first hand experience.

depends on family, national, regional, tribal, and/or clan tradition, as well as personal preference, age, etc
it varies
like every wedding there is a commitment, food, dancing
just the order, words, etc changes, just like everywhere else
if you are interested, find a penpal from African country or read about different countries/tribes/clans ceremonies or
visit

Well there are a lot of Christians and Catholics in Africa so they have weddings the same as Americans do over here. As far as tribal weddings I'm not exactly sure how that works they probably have the chief or high priest perform a ceremony. Your question needs to be more specific though.

You're going to need to be a bit more specific. There are many different countries and cultures in Africa which have different beliefs and practices.
