It's just sad that us African-Americans don't know which part of Africa we came from!

Nubian people still do exist

They are in Egypt

the pop singer Lamya, discovered by Clive Davis, is a Nubian

it is doubtful many people in America who have African blood are descendants of those people or any people from Eastern, Northern, or Southern African people

most of our people were from Western and Central Africa, from smaller tribes that barely exist today (because of so many people being taken from them)

you can take a DNA test and see perhaps (depending on if they have a tribe with your profile) what tribe you might be descended from

As for the Nubians, read about these ancient people and the modern tribal folk

take a visit to Egypt and you can find Nubian communities

I know some Nubian people because I have lived in Egypt, for a time

anyway

our people identify with them, as we do all African people on whom we can research because we lack our true identities

also, they are and were a proud black culture, worthy of emulation

Africa is a really big continent. People come from all over -- the North, the South, the East, the coasts, the interior. A few might have Nubian ancestry, but not all.

Doubtful we have much if any nubian blood, there was much more access to west africans and that's where most of our ancestors were from.

I guess it's possible that some are but you can only know that if you trace your ancestry. We're not an homogenous group you know.
