she really likes me and wish I was gay too. It doesn't bother me its kinda funny because I am not going to change. Is it cool to still talk to her? She is really nice and I look foward talking to her. I have never been hit on by a girl really.

am an 18 year old male and a senior in high school. I am transgender (male to female) and beginning my transition. My school allows me to be a girl in everything but will not let me be a cheerleader. All the other girls on the squad are good with me (I have a signed petition from them all) being on the squad and I passed the tryouts. Do I have any legal recourse against the school?

on ya i don't think people are nosy,to apoint.this is a sight where people go to get answers for their questions and possibly answer other questions hoping to be helpful.i'm talking about the real outside world,your neighbors,coworkers,heck even the people who are perfect strangers.you know why reality shows are such big hits?its because people are nosy.whats this world coming to?when i was growing up people ,to me ,were not as nosy.what ever happened to respect other peoples property and privacy?did these reality shows trigger this frenzy?will it get worse or will it go away?and i'm not talking about being more aware because of terrorists,that a different subject.

is it possible by will power to cast away gay thoughts and impulses and eventually live a normal married life with a woman and have kids? it's because i always end feeling guilty after male encounters and doesn't like to be an all-out gay. it's just the feeling of insecurity to be in a man-woman relationship if i end fooling my wife and family.

I was listening to NPR and there was a woman who was asked if she liked Obama. She said he was a very impressive speaker. and she really liked his message, and felt that there needed to be a change in Washington. But she said she wasn't sure if she was going to actually vote for him because she didn't think a Black man could be elected president.

So what she is saying is, because everybody else is racist, she has to vote along with the racist?

Is this aversive racism? or just plain racism?

I use the phrase "rock up" a lot. It means to arrive casually or unexpectedly, as in "Alex rocked up at my house this morning".

Somebody said to me that it was a very Australian term... but I was surprised so decided to find out.

So, for those of you from "not Australia" can you tell me where you are from and if you've heard of it?

PS I know this is in the LGBT forum but it seems to get a lot of traffic and its the forum I 'hang out' in! Cheers.
