Why would you wish you were gay? Can't women just be friends anymore? What is your question anyway?

About 3 years ago I was in the same situation. I started working with a lesbian and we became friends. I never had any kind of feelings for a woman before and when she would flirt with me and make comments like you should try being with a woman. I would always answer I am not gay and it would never happen. Well it did happen about a year into our friendship we started going out. We were together for almost 2 years until she broke up with me this past July. Just becareful because I wanted to pursue what I was feeling for her and now not only did I lose my partner, now I lost my best friend also. I am not saying your friend is like this but there are lesbians out there that like to try and change people. The only reason I say this is because my ex all her pass ex's and this new woman she is seeing now were not gay. She would also brag about she can't help that she changes people. So just keep your eyes open.

Absolutely. i consider myself to be bi, and i currently have a gf whom ive been with for a year now. i have plenty of great friends both gay and straight. its natural for a gay girl to get a crush on another girl who is straight. just like it is normal for an unattractive guy to have a crush on a girl way out of his league. friendship is friendship. if you can joke about it thats fine. the only time things would get weird is if anything actually ever happened between u guys that would lead her to believe yu may be interested in more. and i dont think friendly flirting as a joke would do it, but if you shared something more like a kiss, then the crush would only deepen for her.

She is probably hoping that you may change your mind ,But if it bothers you tell her that you both can be Friends but not lovers as you are not interested in a relationship.
I feel from your questions that you find it flattering that she has hit on you.So may be you are considering the offer .But you are the only one that knows your own mind.

No one has too many friends. If you enjoy her company, why not be friends. The only caution I might suggest is that if she is known to be gay and you hang out a lot, boys may assume(yea they do, imagine that) that you are also. So if you don't make sure the boys know your interested in them you might miss some dates.

You should stay her friend. But I wouldn't give her mixed messages. If you do then she might come on to you. If you know 100% that she is then you might want to tell her that you really like being her friend but your preference is guys, and your not interested. Or wait and tell her if she does actually make a move on you. That's what I'd do.
Oh and one other thing.........there's no rule that I know of that says you can't experiment! Is there?

I respect gays but if they switch on you you have every right to say get lost because you lose your trust in them, if only because it's not the right thing to do, morally, if your conviction is held fast. In the first place, it's not in your nature to be gay like she is. Be firm because it's a question of morality.

If you guys really are friends, it shouldn't bother you how everybody else would think. You know her better than them. And she being nice to you doesn't necessarily means she's hitting on you. Test the waters first, and you know if you don't like it, it's better to let her know ASAP rather than giving her false hopes.

i'm sure it is very innocent. I have a straight friend that I wish was lez, if only for one night and only with me........but I would NEVER go there. If she starts to make you uncomfortable let her know, but I doubt she really has eyes for trying to change you.

yeah, i lived with two lesbians for 4 years and it was sound and never a problem... she knows your straight and knows nothing will ever come of a bit of flirting but if it makes you feel uncomfortable just tell her you'll box her ears if she says owt like that again...
