Love the show, especially the host. He is a top comic in my book.
Don't ever want to be on the show though & get zapped in front of millions. No way -no how.

For the most part. I cant believe that some of the contestants dont know the very basic things. I like Jeff Foxworthy and I enjoy seeing the kids and their abundance of enthusiasm. I've been a contestant on some shows and know it's not the same as sitting at home, but still-I hope I'd be smarter than a 5th grader.

It's been soooo long since the 5th grade. I don't think they taught us the same stuff back then---did they?? I've watched it a few times. It's a little slow moving.

Every chance I get, and no, I'm NOT smarter than a fifth grader...though I believe I once was. ;-)

Yes, the premise of the show makes it sound easy, but its really not!! The really bad thing is that the questions are basic knowledge, things that anybody who attended school should know. and yet i can't figure out some of the answers to save my life!!

No because I know its fixed with the smartest fifth graders they can find and the dumbest adults.

Watched it once, enough to learn my lesson. I watched a woman fumble the first two questions and said, "I can't believe this woman, these are simple questions." Then the next question was one I honestly couldn't answer. *click, change channel.

Definitely. And I'm surprised at some of the college grads and high IQ nuts who can't answer simple questions (e.g. what is the closest star to earth).
