whether you need it or not?

I seem to gravitate towards anything with cats. I have a cat Christmas picture frame (with a picture of my baby girl), a wooden and ceramic cat, a painted rock of a Tabby cat asleep, a iron cast cat, several cat pillows from craft shows, and a picture of a cat with birds/rabbits in my living room!

If marriage is no longer defined as between man/woman, what's to stop it from further being defined as man/2women or 3women or man/dog??? or should all that be allowed too? Tell me what you think.

I am very much for gay rights and think gay couples should be able to do something other than "marriage" in order to obtain the same rights as married people.

I don't think gays will improve the institution of marriage b/c I know lots of gay people who cheat and are just a promiscuous as the straight ones. So please don't give this as an answer.

am a tad wary of being mistaken for asking a racist question (im not btw, i work alongside many ethnic backgrounds, and am friendly with them all)

can anyone explain to me why independance was important, and, if it was to leave Britain (technically a sweeping statement, sorry), then what are the benefits of living here?

im completely open minded, so please dont use this as an opportunity to sling racist abuse

That the world as it is today is more selfish because there are more people in it versus years ago when it had less people. Therefore, one was able to be kinder, more thoughtful, and less selfish. Parents had more time to teach and show their children how to behave in public and towards one another.

Do you believe people just don't care period and are out for themselves? Since things or rules are no longer black or white but gray, anything goes as long as it does not cause harm?

because you know i'm a girly girl, 13 yrs. old and i'm attending all-girls school. so this school year there was a tomboy that really looks hot because she looks like a handsome guy and looks like katherine moennig (L word). I've got a crush on her, everytime I saw her I just turn around. I know that she likes me too because her friends always tease me to her, she always winked and looked at me (even though i'm just passing their classroom then she'll stare and smile) and me and a lot of people said that she likes me because she've told them. Did you know that the baptists are one group you have to thank in a big way for the freedom of religion we have in this country?

Don't you realize we ALL immigrated from somewhere?! Even the Native Indians!

I watched a documentory on these teenage girls who were singing racist songs and worshipping Hitler. Their ethnicity was German and something else. They made a huge scene about being against immigrants, which was extremely hypocritical because their ancestors were immigrants to the USA!

I think each person should be free to move around any country, if they prove themselves worthy (i.e. good education etc) they should be allowed to live in that country.

It's so hypocritical!

I have so many personal labels I wish they'd stop sending them. Also I am now getting nickels in the mail also from certain charities. Doesn't all this cost them? Instead of wasting money doing this, it could go to the charity for their needs. Never understood this. Is this happening to you?

This chica acts like we're good enough friends that she can borrow from me all the time and when she pays me back, it's used immediately to her advantage. She says we're on "dates" (in public), says we have a "secret" (we don't) and frankly, I don't like that she called me her "partner" in front of three coworkers. I just don't have the heart (yet) to say I know you're just playing a game and go back to the playground, but when I do, I want to be civil and keep things cool. How to?
