I'm tired of these hos my neighborhood talking all of this trash about. She was in y drama class last school year and she just started to hate on me since day one becuase the guy she liked wanted to go out with me instead of her. Then she started to gossip about and started to send childish messages on my myspace. I confronted her and told her basically get your name out of my mouth or else i'm gonna have to slap name out of your mouth. She keeps on going at it tellin everyone that i had sex with the entire football team and that i was preganant. None on of these things are true. I know where she lives and lately shes been mouthing off about me and my girls.

Do you really think the whole stigma about homosexuality, or sexuality in general is forced on you by others and society?
Or do you perhaps think that maybe you are making a bigger deal out of it than others?
What I am asking is do you think it is real, or just perceived?

I hear a lot of commentary about how Africans/blacks have no history, how they haven't contributed technology or inventions, but I seriously doubt many have even read or tried to research to see if that claim is true.

Reading western textbooks doesn't really apply since we all know who education is controlled by in this country.

I find it hard to believe that any real racists would pick up a book written about black ppl being that they hate us so much.

'Amrrrcans' are quick to explain the problems of poverty and underdevelopment in other countries (i.e. Mexico, Central America, etc.) as directly related to alleged corruption existing in their governments.

So, does that mean that 'Amrrrca' is corruption free, since it is soooo developed, and relatively speaking, poverty free? Do people in the 'Amrrrcan' government (Federal, State, Local, etc.) dish out favors and favoritism in exchange for bribes?

If you listen to black music today (Rap, R&B) its mostly derogatory. In Rap music (specifically) they degrade women, advocate violence, advocate murdering, are sexist, promote and glamourise gang member life, advocate, promote and glamourize the use of illegal drugs, ect..

Its not like this stuff is hidden from the public either, and it is dangerous for young people to listen to such music that glorifies such horrible things.

All the while it seems blacks quickly attach themselves to this kind of stereotype and culture and dress like a Hip Hop gang member as if its the only identity availble for blacks today

Would you white folks get offended? It's all in jest anyway. I refer to my anglo friends as mono-lingual or one language people all the time. I have no intent to hurt them. So far no one has taken any offense and most get a laugh out of it. I'm just poking a little fun at their inability to speak another language.

What did you enjoy as a child that would be considered too dangerous today? Here are mine:
1.Rode my bicycle all over town, no helmet of course.
2. Played kick-the-can in the street after dark.
3.Galopped on a horse through the farm fields and woods with a younger cousin; no helmet of course.
4. Stayed out trick-or-treating with my best friend till the last porch light in town was turned off.

This is an update on a question I posed several weeks ago when UPS said they would not extend health benefits to gays that joined under NJ civil union laws.

Of course I know why some people have said as such- When people accuse me of being a race traitor, call me a cave *****, told me that I was stealing black men, and so on... I was/am aware that these statements were/are coming from the mouths of racists. It makes no sense that they would say such things and then accuse someone else of being racist. But that's what they do, and the fact is that they're the ones who are racist. I know this.

However, what I don't understand is why people would always tell me that I was being racist by only dating black men (rather than dating various races of men). How was I any different from white women who only date white men or black women who only date black men? I can't help who I'm attracted to. I've never been with a black man for racist reasons. So how in hell can someone think I'm racist?

i've been a cheerleader since middle school and now i just got sent home from summer practice with a note to my parents... I opened it and it said: "Due to recent revelations regarding your daughter's choice of lifestyle, we regret to inform you that she may no longer participate.... blah blah blah"

then later on they explain that my sexuality "poses a possible threat to the other girls on the team."

I can't even bear to show this to my parents...

is this whole thing even legal??
