Before I discovered Y/A, I read a great deal. Now I seem to be adhesively attached to this device.
I still read, but not to the same degree.

many times. even have THE SHADOW paperbacks which Dad enjoyed and are still fun re-reading time after time. But personally prefer books on Native American topics fictional and non-fictional

Most of the books I have are non fiction or poetry and I'm always dipping into them. Recently I've been rereading a set of humorous books before lights out, I still find them funny and a nice way to end the day with a cup of chamomile tea! and certainly not a waste of time.

I reread some of them. I want to re-read Gone with the Wind. I am planning on re-reading the Harry Potter books. I have reread the biography of Marie Laveau several times. It never hurts to refresh you memory!

I enjoy rereading a book I like and any reading is never a waste of time

I LOVE reading, period. And I love rereading them too. Some books are just too good to be read only once. Those books that make you think, sometimes I read them again to see if there's anything I missed. Like Harry Potter--I read 1-6 about three times each.

Yes, certain books I have are kind of like old friends and I enjoy rereading some of them. No I don't consider it a waste of time at all. Some autobiographies are particularly good.

As a rule I do not re-read. However, once in awhile I come upon a book that is worth keeping and re-reading. I think I have read Gone With the Wind about 4 times. :-)

All the time! Once enough time has passed that I start forgetting the little things in the books, I pick them up to read them again.

I am STILL working on my Jack Ryan books by Tom Clancy. I am being unnecessarily slow at getting through them, though, because of all the time I spend on YA!!

Oh yes, a good book is like a good welcome friend. I do wait quite a bit of time before rereading. Y/A will get to you and you will resume reading again and divide your time between a few hobbies.

Good question and comments - I will be spending less time on Y Ans and going back to more reading. Anyone else doing the same?
