'Amrrrcans' are quick to explain the problems of poverty and underdevelopment in other countries (i.e. Mexico, Central America, etc.) as directly related to alleged corruption existing in their governments.

So, does that mean that 'Amrrrca' is corruption free, since it is soooo developed, and relatively speaking, poverty free? Do people in the 'Amrrrcan' government (Federal, State, Local, etc.) dish out favors and favoritism in exchange for bribes?

This sounds like more of a statement than a question - I guess to provoke thought.

And I'm sure you know there is a lot of poverty in this country and parts of the country that is neglected. Regarding corruption this country was founded and built on corruption and that is the mindset, that was fate of this country ever since the settlers came. It will NEVER change. Thank the forefathers.

Lots of people in the US government are corrupt.

Since 911, with a lot of people scared of another attack, the republicans have used that fear to line their own pockets and a lot of democrats have followed them like mindless sheep.

I think the US government is LESS corrupt than a lot of the ones you mentioned -- Mexico, Central America, etc. But that's a far cry from being a Christian country with clean hands.

Having done the books for candidates and PACs, I am of the impression that it is OK to bribe officials, just so long as you report it.
