Scared? No, concerned yes, but then again there is a fine line between the two. If they are just walking and talking and not causing any chaos then I am not concerned. But if they are busting bottles and doing harmful things then I might become a little worried, it wouldn't matter what they had on or what kind of group it is.

It depends. I'm a woman and not particularly large. I am ever cautious of a group of people hanging out or walking toward me if I am alone. If it is a mixed group I am less concerned than if it is a group of all males. I'll be walking faster and looking around more diligently no matter the race. Crimes against women aren't race specific.

I don't get scared of people unless I have a reason to.
People who wear goth and punk rock clothes are just people, by the way. I personally love the style.

It sounds like your fears are rooted in your own preconceived notions.
Some people wear their personality on their sleeve and others bury it a little. That doesn't mean that either is more or less dangerous.
If you get to know the people you stereotype (Whites, Gothics, Punks, etc.), you'll see that beneath the skin we're all the same.
You are not afraid of these people, you are simply afraid of the unknown. Just like fearing the dark or death.

I don't like to walk down the street and see a group of any kind of people together. I always cross the street. It doesn't scare me, but you never know what kind of mob mentality can be brought up, over any little thing.

Nowadays I get a little nervous. Society as a whole doesn't seem to recognize that a group of whites can be even more dangerous than any group of of misfits walking towards you. In most cases these guys seem to be able to get away with literally murderous behavior. As in the case of bensonhurst, and numerous case across the country spanning many years up to today. If the courts and society weren't so obsessed with legislating how many blacks can be seen in public together. There probably wouldn't be so many whites getting away with murder and racial attacks.

I was lucky to grow up in an environment where I felt that I was an equal among all people and I didn't feel out of place. I don't feel intimidated around people who are "different'' than myself. I didn't really understand or come in contact with racial issues until I attended middle school.
To answer your question, no I wouldn't feel afraid. Why should I? Are they posing any threat to me? If not, then I have no reason to afraid.

no.I have found anywhere you go anymore people just are not friendly. I smile at people all the time and sincerely try to make conversation and get ignored rudely most times. This is somewhat hurtful. I am a non goth white chic, are you telling me these people are afraid of me?It is a shame what racism and bigotry can do to people.Sheesh

No, I don't like to judge people by their apperance. Besides, I like to people wearing punk/emo/goth clothes... Most of them are fairly nice people.
