In the US, we live on the wrong side of a one-way mirror; most foreign news (even from Canada) never makes it in. In contrast, much of the world gets our stupid-news (Paris Hilton, etc).
The difference is a certain level of civility and politeness, a certain degree of social idealism and consciousness, a slight accent, and appreciation for hockey.

Difference: Canadians have a canadian accent, Americans don't. Canadians are made up of, or are decended from, French and English people. Queen Elizabeth is their head of state; sadly, we have Bush. They speak French and English, repectively. The main language in America in English. Canadians are 83 percent white, and the rest are made mostly of Europeans. America has many different races. The only likeness between us is that we share the same continent.

Some live in America. Some live in Canada. Some are Americans who live in Canada, some are Canadians who live in America.
Other than that, they are all just people.

The Canadians seem to be more tolerant and more accepting people. They also have less of urge to shoot people seeing as their gun crime is minimal and the Americans seem to be top of the leader board on that score.
Also you can tell the difference by the way they say the word 'Out' the canadians say 'Oooot'
