It angers me that the government has the ability to vote over our rights. (Note that I am not venting, I'm giving my opinion, so I'm not violating community guidelines). If we were created equal, as that is pretty much the idea of America, how do they have the right do deny the GLBT equal rights? They may not like it (on a personal level, senator to senator, etc.) but it doesn't give them the right to take away our rights. I believe this is religious morals-- which is another issue out country was founded on. The seperation between Church and State! Where has it gone, where are these unalienable rights that I was supposed to born with going? So, what's your take on the matter? What can we do, as a community? You can't honestly expect us to sit back and quietly say "okay" as they try and pass anti-gay laws. I do believe we are making progress, but politically, there may be enough opposition, and we really can't afford to have much of it.

In a state where I am fortunate enough to be married, would it be odd to think that I could, in the future, have a nice big wedding and reception afterwards...as many hetero couples do? Or is that wishful thinking...

I am just wondering if all the decent gay guys have been taken or are there just none left in the world?? I am just tired of talking to guys that only are looking for casual sex, or need to grow up,or just not ready for a long term relationship. Are guys these days looking for a partner for a long term relationship or just playing the field. It seems that all the guys in Northeastern Pennsylvania are only looking for 1 night stands. I would hate to think we have come down to just that.

Could this 100%mexican pop group make it big in the American music market?..Is it the type of music americans listen to?...Heres a videoclip of this mexican band the video was made in between the border of U.S and Mexico...(the video is about 6 mexicans trying cross the border)

At school I am called a geek by all the older students. I am not that smart, only normal, but i am very shy. i have blue eyes, waist length brown hair and glasses. all i want is to maybe style my hair differently or something. anything! also my friends arn't very...popular. they are a bit childish but they are my only friends at this school.

Here is something that would be of interest to matured persons (ie aka senior citizens).

It was reported that a cat, named Oscar, raised at a nursing home would curl up with a patient who would die within two hours. So far, he has been right in 25 cases. The report is at the url below -

How can I prevent from being discriminated against? I feel that I was rejected a position to work at a store because of the way I dress/religion and not because of the qualities that are required for the job. During the interview I said I was neat, organized and that I complete every task without procrastination. I also said that my #1 priority is the customer’s happiness and that they have a pleasant shopping experience at the store. What did I do wrong to be rejected a position where I'd have to restock shelves or work as a cashier. Is there anything I could do to prove it?
