I think they sound pretty good, the video isn't bad. It's really pop, not very edgy or quirky like a lot of the music videos you would see in America. It would work with the High School Musical set though! They would totally have to sing in English however. Not too many foreign language groups make it big in the USA.
That's kind of funny that their music video is about a border crossing attempt, in this election season with that being a big political issue.

They got the look, they sound good, but they are not unique. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if a group will make it to the top or not. What it takes is talent and staying power. I believe that this group will make it big provided that they catch the ear of a reputable record sponsor/agent. They appear to be like any other American group of kids trying to make it big. However, tell them to stay away from labeling themselves as Mexican and start labeling themselves as artists. Music lovers do not care about ethnicity so much as they care about the quality of the music. Good Luck.

The group sounds pretty good, however to make it "Big" in America, they have to sing in English. They would probably gain fans in the 12-16 year old age group (due to the Debbie Gibson pop sound they have), but that age group spends a lot of money on fads and music, so the band would stand a chance. If they remain an exclusively Spanish singing group, they will likely gather a fan base of 12-6 year old hispanic kids, which is enough to get started in the "Pop Scene" but not enough to make them famous.

I don't pretend to understand the US music market, I got sick of rock music nearly 30 years ago, yet most of the rest of the country is still fine with it. But my guess would be the people open enough to listen to lyrics in another language wouldn't like the rock (although I think the tune is good, I think it's being wasted by the bad style) and teh people who still insist on listening to rock would put off by it not being in english. So my guess is no. Of course another factor is the high libido'd 15-24 year old males who would be attracted to the cute singers.

Its a good thing you told us what the plot of the video was, I would never have guessed that. Other than the two road signs, there is nothing, no fence, no desert, nobody guiding them, no multiple layers of clothing, not even a suitcase. Definately a fantasy lure designed to glorify a very dangerous undertaking.

This question sounds familiar. If it's the group I'v already heard of, they didn't sound too hot to me. Since you're edging into an immigration question also, I hope they are following the rules that people used to follow. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing legally.
