I am just wondering if all the decent gay guys have been taken or are there just none left in the world?? I am just tired of talking to guys that only are looking for casual sex, or need to grow up,or just not ready for a long term relationship. Are guys these days looking for a partner for a long term relationship or just playing the field. It seems that all the guys in Northeastern Pennsylvania are only looking for 1 night stands. I would hate to think we have come down to just that.

Are there any decent men period... just kidding.. of course there is.. you just have to wait for that right one. Don't settle for any old person that comes you way. Things start picking up from there.
Go to different places.. the club scene gets played out after awhile.. it just seems everyone one is looking for fun.. trying hanging out with different people, and dont be afraid to approach people. Often time we wait on that person to come to us.
If you meet a guy and your first conversation is about sex, that could be a warning sign that that person is only intrested in sex.

Well, are you making your expectations clear before you start dating any of them? It's hard to meet unexpressed expectations.
Yes, many people are just "playing the field." I would venture that just as many are not.
How about a change of venue? Have you joined any LGBT clubs or organziations, or done any group events? If there aren't any, how about starting a potluck supper club among your friends? You can meet some great people at such things - and who knows, maybe even someone with more than "friend" potential . . .

The question isn't anything new, it's always being asked by men and women all over the world (where dating is allowed anyways). Yes, there are some decent gays guys around (I include myself in this catagory) but we're a little harder to find I'm afraid.

I am in the same boat. I live 25 minutes away from San Francisco and most want quick sex. I have found a handful, but am being too picky

If you look on Match.com or Gay.com personal ads, you'll see huge numbers of guys who want to settle down, if they find the right person. Maybe you're just looking for apples on a lemon tree.
