be relieved... because if I found out my boyfriend of 2 years is straight, I've got some questions for him! :)

Well, if he's hiding it from you, I think that it would be very unlikely that he's going to openly admit it to you if you asked. Unless, of course, the two of you have gotten to the point of being more like friends.
In any case, you would have to ask him in a way that doesn't sound like you're accusing him. Just tell him the reasons that you're basing your assumptions on and tell her that you truly need honesty from him. Tell him that you won't judge him or hate him for it but as the person that he's committed himself to love, you deserve the right to know.
Coming out is a very difficult process and I don't expect anyone who is heterosexual to understand. Further, I don't think it sounds fun for you at all to be in this position to even have to question the sexual preference of your partner. So, I'm sorry that you're here at all.
Make sure that you're practicing safe sex techniques (as always) and don't keep putting off the conversation. The sooner you know, the sooner you can get moving in another direction in your life be it with him or not.
Again, I'm sorry that you're in this situation and I wish you much luck.

All the, "talk to him" answers are true and right but if it turns out that he's gay, then I would be rightfully upset that I wasn't made aware of this before being invited to invest my romantic feelings. However, there's little point in fretting about it one way or another until you have your answer so I'd just bring up the specific instances that caused my suspicion and ask him straight up.

I would try to give them some space and let them work it out on their own, and try to help them deal with accepting it once they figured it out. If it was just me and the guy it wouldn't be a problem but if you have kids that complicates things more.

I'd be pissed at him first for not telling me from the beginning, but I'd eventually try my best to support him. He wouldn't get the ring back though.

I would be supportive and just be there for them in this rough time they are having. Yes i would be disappointed but I can't change who they are.
