I, (my personal point of view) have difficulty to believe in that theory, "that gays are what they are because they have chosen their path".
My Question to all homos(with all due respect) on this forum, Do you really choose to whom you are attracted with?

No I can honestly say I do not choose whom I'm attracted too. There was nothing in life that ever made me decide to be gay. I have a really hard time with people telling me that they believe this is true, because heterosexuals didn't decide to be heterosexuals. We aren't sexual deviants in anyway, we don't do bad, disgusting things, we are just people who happen to be attracted to the same sex. I'm glad you don't accept the theory that we choose to be this way. Because honestly it comes down to this, we are treated unfair in society, we have less rights, we are ridiculed, bashed, hated, and told that we are going to hell by religions... So why would anyone choose that? That's usually my argument when someone tells me I choose to be who I am. Thank you for your question. Take care! :)

No, gay people do not choose to be gay. You either are or you are not.
Some people can have homosexual tendencies...which is basically homosexual wanna be's! LOL it is not the same thing. Iam told this is usually due to neglect from the same sex parent at key points of developement...it passes. I thought
I might be a lesbian while growing up...I'm not...but I would have been fine with it if it turned out to be who I was. God makes that choice...not us.

No.Gays aren't what they are by CHOICE but due to Biological compulsions. If you are asked as why you height is 6 ft and not 5 ft,what satisfactory answer can you givel except that nature made you as such. It's exactly the same with them. The rest as they say are minor details. No,I am not a homo but would like people like you to understand the biological truth and accept and if possible, respect it.To deny or scorn the natural truths does not show wisdom but audacity and egg handedness.

Part of the problem is ignorance about bisexuality. If someone goes from gay relationships to relationships with the opposite sex, some might use that as proof that he's "cured".

The other part of the problem is how people are defining homosexuality. They think if you have sex with the same gender you're gay, and if you don't you're not. They don't define it by the attraction to members of the same gender.

If a man found himself capable of choosing to love a man instead of a woman then that person is bisexual and not homosexual.

For homosexuals there is no "choice", they are attracted to and love members of the same sex period.

Not a homosexual but have studied the data and vast majority of data shows it is genetic and not a choice.

That being said there are always exceptions to the rule...but they do not invalidate the rule
