I ask because I am brave enough now to go out dressed as a woman...or just, as I see it, cross dressed, wearing the clotehs of a women but looking like a man. I guess if more men did this, the stigma 'might' go away one day...but my question is..are we trying to present as women, or just a feminised version of ourselves? Down to personal prefence at the end of the day, I don't mind either - but it's fun to dress fully as a woman - although more effort involved I guess. By the way all men should wear bras under their clothes (they are good for the back after all!!)

I know i want to get married some day.. but how would it work. Just thinking about it makes me go crazy. Do I pop the question or does my bf? Do I buy a ring? Does it have to be like a Diamond ring? What kind of clothes do we wear? Would one wear black and one wear white? So many questions..

Has Anyone here been to a gay wedding before? If so what was it like?

Listening to arguments on both sides, just wondering where the problem would lie with either answer. Are people saying they are born guy as a justification? Are people saying that it is a learned trait, so that they can shame homosexuals for their behavior? Do pavlovian traits cause brain activity adjustments? Would there be a problem for the morale right if it were proven that it was trait people were born with? Would it be a problem for the gay community if it were proven to be pavlovian?

Solely due to political pressure as many anti-gay groups claim? Was there any scientific evidence that homosexuality is not a mental illness, or was the APA forced to change it due to political pressure? Do most psychologists in the US today think it's not a mental illness?

Are the terms American Indian and Native American essentially synonyms, in the same way that the terms black and African American are often used interchangeably? ......... I ask this because when I meet other American Indian People we usually identify ourselves by our names and what nation/nations we are from.....I feel more comfortable and it decribes my heritage rather than putting me in a whole bunch of people......I noticed at work a friend of mine calls himself black american rather than African American ...he said because he was not born in Africa......he was born here his parents and his grandparents...ect...what are your thoughts?

I want to know what your personal idea is of an America free of racism. When will you be satisfied with America? What things do you think would help contribute to a racist-free country? It's an open ended question. Share!

Yeah I know I'm talking about a comlete utopian society, which will sadly probably never happen. But just for kicks, share with me.

Thank you much <:

Do you believe as being gay/lesbian, that God really does love you, being that you were born that way? Or do you shy away from that fact, and believe that you can't love God because you are gay/lesbian..and everyone says He doesn't love you because you're living in sin? Just out of curiosity, why or why don't you feel this way?

Am I the only one who noticed that this question gets asked at least 20 times a day... "I like women (or men depending on the sex of the person asking), but I don't know if I'm bi", or something similar???

I mean, why does our society put so much pressure on people that they feel they need to label themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc? I feel so sorry for the people who ask this question, because for the most part you can tell that they truly feel like they have to decide what they are!

Come on guys... just love yourself, and be with who you want to be with! You might not can marry them in every state, but there's no laws stopping you from being yourself!!! And loving yourself!

Thanks... I just had to get that off my chest... lol.

Ok, I used to live down south(South Carolina/Florida) briefly and I live in DC and everyone thinks I'm from the backwoods and they say that I have a strong southern accent. I don't! Everyone says it's really strong and I act very polite and shy like a girl from the south.

Do you get classified or treated as Black?
If you date interracially, do people have a problem with it?

How do you feel about it living in this day and age?

I have seen questions today asking when "normal" people will get a pride parade, why do gay people keep coming out of the closet, and how uset would people get if we held "white entertainment awards".

Is logic dead now? These people are representative of those who for centuries held back women, black people and homosexuals. They have continuously worked to deny people their rights, their equal place in society, and have done all they could to strip away any sembance of human dignity from these people.

And then they have the unmitigated gall to act confused and ask why "these people" won't just be quiet and quit complaining?" I have to tell you friends, I just don't understand some people.

Honestly, why does anyone think that someone would CHOOSE to put themselves in an alienated minority? I'm looking for an actual real answer here. Don't get me wrong, I'm gay and proud and I have nothing to be ashamed of, and I have no desire to be anything else. But looking from an outsiders perspective. Why would someone say, "hey that group is persecuted and mocked, where can I sign up"????? Or "hmmm, how can I narrow my dating pool down to only 10-15% of the population? I know I'll be gay!!" It makes no sense. It's not logical. I know, I'm about to get a lot of bigoted, bible quoting haters in here who are going to try to berate and belittle me and tell me I'm a demon but I don't care. If I can find one person who can give a succint and intelligent answer to this question, it would be worth it. But you can't because there isn't one. It all extends from prejudice and fear of the unknown and archaic religious beliefs that don't allow for scientific fact. We're born gay!!!
