why dose everyone have something agianst black people?

i've encountered many problems , my friend adn i went to movie a week ago, and people moved away from us after we sat down next to them, all i ask,, is why? it's not fair

i have nothing against other people, whether black or white or whatever colour as i think there's good and bad in every country (race). i must say i have a lot of black friends and don't see them any different.

If people moved away from a gay guy in the cinema that doesnt mean theyre doing it because theyre homophobic.

My point is, people move all the time. You cant make a fuss about something that probably wasnt even the case. Same as (for example) you cant blame not getting a job on the employer being racist because thats not going to be the case.

People arent that petty. They probably just didnt want to sit by anyone.

Personally, I do still think this is a problem... On the one hand, yes, I'm black, and yes, I do notice that my peers can be rather boisterous at inopportune times... But then again, it's not a "black" thing, it's a "teenager" thing. F***in' get over it. As for the people up here being racist. Go f*** yourselves, there's no reason to stereotype.

Not everyone! Keep it real.

More than likely, the people who did that to you have had very little contact with blacks. And the contact they have had was perhaps negative. If what they know about black people comes from TV, can you blame them? It's terrible how we're portrayed, especially by writers and directors who are black themselves.

Don't take it personal hun. There are many people in this country and probably in your city who have nothing against any racial group. Don't let this experience cause you to feel badly towards white people. Just like there are some ignorant black people, there are ignorant white people.

i have had at least 3 racist encounters per day ever since I left my parents home at 16 to go to college

and i am now 35

I could give you lots of reasons and because there are so many black screwups and Oreos these days, like that evil idiot in Canton, OH it gives the racist wood for the fire that was always there.

But you have to learn to pick your battles. You must accept, like most successful black people, that most people hate black people, and deal from there.

Think of the world as your own and that those racists are part of you (the universe, created by God) and things will get a little better.

Don't let people intimidate you and don't stop reaching for your dreams.

Read Manifest Your Destiny, the Bible and anything by Iyanla Vanzant. Keep your eyes on the prize and remember that our slave ancestors and forbears had it worse than us.

I would place the question in reverse. Why do most black people hate whites? Today white people, as well as many other races pull away from blacks, because black people have withdrawn from society, choosing to exclude themselves, by wearing different clothes, playing different music, twisting the English language into their own distorted dialect, shooting ugly and threatening glances at other races as they pass by, Talking at volume levels that are not acceptable to general society. Their lack of forgiveness for the slavery issue. They have repelled most other ethnic groups by carving themselves out of society, and then blaming society for their woes. Treat people with respect, and you WILL receive it in return. Reject society, and you will remain rejected, and separated forever. If you take these things to heart, white people, and all other ethnic cultures will not even notice the color of your skin, though you may be considered a traitor to your race by those blacks who hate whites. Love and be loved. Hate, and be hated.

I'm spanish...and it drives me crazy when other spanish people, or asians, or whites... say racist things about blacks...

They feel comfotable, I guess, because i'm not black...and then they say horrible things...

I don't know why black folk got the short-end of the stick...but that is why we have to support legislation that promotes equality... eventually, and hopefully, things will change in the future. But they are not well now...

blacks do the same they are ,thinking slavery, the blacks today live a good life if they work and most people look @ the way you and your friends treat us when you out number us , you laugh ,make remarks, an instagate an encounter, an blame us., you think discrimination is a word invented gor your race, you know white slavery exsisted, read about it. but we dont dislike your race. you dis like us more.

Wow, where do you live? That never happens to me, even asians sit next to me. I think if you look kinda mean or scary, they tend to avoid you more and don't want to do something that will upset you. My mom tells me that no white or non-ghetto people will mess with ghetto blacks if they look the part.
