Intelligence and maturity are separate qualities. Maturity varies depending on age. When I was 14, I was a lot more sarcastic and obnoxious than I am now (but don't tell my wife that, she won't buy it). At certain ages, I'd say females are definitely more mature than males but it eventually evens out, depending on the individual of course. Intelligence is anybody's guess. Guys do behave strangely but I've also met some ladies who do the same. I think partly its just because you're a girl on the outside looking into the world of guys, which can be confusing.

I'm inclined to agree with the Huddersfield MP, Barry Sheerman, who is the Labour Chairman of the House of Commons Education Committee. He says that women are brighter than men.

In the past I read books by psychologists and teachers who said girls mature that way quicker than males up until the early teenage years.

Men hit their sexual peak in their early 20's but women however hit their peak in the mid 30's.

That would imply that men mature more quickly than women.

intelligence has nothing to do with maturity so your question is moot. however, women DO have a level of maturity not attainable by most men, i'll give you that...

Nope, I'd say that it's about even. There are many females and male that behave in "immature" ways. You could even say that we all do occasionally, irregardless of our age.
