okay...im doin a research project on modern day pop bands and i chose to do my paper on the spanish pop band RBD....im doin an online poll to see what people think about their music....good? bad? ridiculous? ...... u guys tell me..and please add ur name n age, thanks!!

Brace yourself because this is going to be long. I am a young, black female who has always been interested in 20th century German history, but I have never had the opportunity to learn the German language until I reached college. I went through level one in the last fall semester, but I pretty much did not study at all, but I still made a C+ (this was not normal for me). I signed up for the second level during the summer session, which starts in two days, but I know I am behind. Now, I want to stick with this concentration, but I am extremely worried that I will not only make a fool of myself, but also fail. Also, it is more realistic for me to learn Spanish considering our changing country, and my previous learning experience (5 years). I don't know what I should do! Either way, it will be a decision for me to choose, but I need some kind of guidance...

I was always curios and i thought i would ask. Is it the same as the way i feel for a girl? I mean i was noticing the opposite sex since the second i came out the wound. I mean, are gay people born like this?

My question to you is "When did you Choose to be straight? You didn't choose to be straight, you were born that way. You like the opposite sex not because of a choice, it was right for you. Do you agree with this or disagree.

Have you ever noticed a mixed guys hair when it's cut? (I'm reffering to a black and white "product".). It has like yellow blond patches and the rest is jet black. Like highlights. Why is that? I don't think I've seen any Whites have natural "discolored" hair like that. Or Blacks. Just curious here, I DO NOT want a racial flame war here.

I'm 18 now. and yeah people say once you've get to that age you think your grown and that u know it all. But i dont believe that is the case because if you ever had asian parents you know what kind of a struggle it can be. I'm not a bad person. i work for them at their business.I dont smoke or drink. I'm not a big partyer. But once every now and then maybe i would like to jus chill with my friends or go to the movies. But they bust up my phones calling me telling me to go to work..and i feel so guilty when i dont go because i know i owe them so much. Every time they call i dont pick up i get nauscious. only because i just want time for my life and i dont wanna hear it when i get home. I want really bad to just tell them to just treat me like an adult and jus give me freedom...How do i do that?

obviously country music has won the hearts of millions but i never understood why more blacks aren't in country music when there are just as many country black folks as inner city black folks. on the other hand, whites (young people of course) are embracing hip hop and r&b but the same thing isn't happening as quickly in reverse(blacks embracing country music). we have had small steps (rapper nelly and tim mcgraw,etc) but nothing huge... yes i know about cowboy troy/ rissi parker,etc

I moved to St. Louis, Missouri, less than four months ago. And I don't know hardly anyone here, but I'm remembering some gay times (as it were) with my friends in San Francisco before I met My Steve. Steve liked to keep his distance from gays so as not to be hit on, since he was rather ideal "gay bait." But he committed suicide over a year ago, and it's time for me to re-assert my own style: Big Mama who wants friends to hang out with.

How do I break into the scene in St. Louis, or more specifically University City? I don't have a car, and don't even know how to drive, so I must plan my outings with care. No "just go hang out" will work unless it's on the Loop, since I can walk there. I don't feel like I can even identify the gay bars, let alone walk in and get a rousing chorus of "Hello, Dolly!"

But that the choice was about being homosexual and choosing to have sex. (This kinda of reiterates the 'love the sinner not the sin' theory.) But do you think that having sex is that much of a choice? To me it is a natual occurrence.
I no more think that sex is about choice than eating, drinking,sleeping or urinating...They are all simple biological functions and drives. To me telling me not to have sex is telling me to think about anything except an elephant.(of course everyone imagines an elephant at this point).
And BTW how many straight people ever give up sex because 'it is wrong'--that they are unmarried and the bible says that it is wrong? I concede maybe a few nuns and,( well, priests have certainly shown what an artificial environment can do to people) might have--but they hardly lead normal lives.
... Anyone agree? or disagree?

My fiance has 2 celtic iron cross tattoos, and all he will tell me is that he earned them. I cant get any other explaination, which is fine it just keeps nagging at me. It's knot work, but its continuous, it never stops. If that makes sense. Furthermore one is white, one is black. So just out of curiousity does anyone know how he might have earned them?

I'm not talking about how they're all rich, or how some are noticably better than others, rather the fact that as far as i know, all but one of the NASCAR drivers is caucasian, and they are all male. United States presidents all have been white males.

Does this bother anyone else?
