It seems to me that those who came out at a very young age sometimes have a complete disdain for people in the closet or those who are coming out, slowly later on in life. Isn't it wonderful, on the other hand, that we do have such wonderful GLBT people who support us, do not belittle us, and do not call us names?

Is it seriously possible for people around you, such as freinds and family, to know that youre gay before you discover yourself? From watching the way you act around certain people or say certain things, can that make the pressumtion? If you do things subconsiously and you dont know that it had a homosexual undertone to it, you wouldnt notice because it is natural to you (but you never thought about being gay). Is it truely possible for a friend to say 'I always knew, you made it obvious'?

I haven't seen my college friend, "T", in about 5 years. We met and went shopping together this past weekend. When we were in a cafeteria, the server asked if she needed her meal to be kosher or not (but she didn't ask me).
My friend asked the lady why she offered her the meal, and she said "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you looked Jewish." My friend totally overreacted, and was really really insulted that this server thought she was Jewish (or "looked Jewish").
I just happen to have reddish hair and green eyes, and my friend has darker features.

She talked all the way home about how she was singled out by this server and I wasn't. She even talked about dyeing her hair blonde. Basically I gleaned that she equated someone calling you Jewish with "ugly" and "fat," "cross eyed", and other anti semitic garbage.

I never knew this side of her. I'm really shocked. She used to be a great friend, but I guess she has changed. Should I work on the friendship or stay away from her?

Here's the facts:

1) They don't seem to like women much. The mere sight of them, especially without being 100% coverred in black tents, puts them in a dither.

2) Muslim men hold hands in public, and kiss each other a lot.

I don't know about yhou, but these behaviors are awfully gay in my book.

Why do they think we have kangaroos and koalas up the main street, that Australia is full of British convicts only and that we are all country hics. And why do they think that we all live in the outbcack. And why do they think their nation is the greatest on earth. If it was that great, why do they have people living in brown cardboard boxes on the street and why do they have still have the death penalty. Australia is the greatest and fairest nation on earth, not America.

That if you say you dislike welsh people you are called racist. Nationalist maybe but not racist.
I grew up in Cheshire and unforunately have met many many welsh people in my time, not one of whom I liked. Have I just been unlucky? I like people based on who they are not where they are from.

Don't get me wrong. I like lesbians and have them as friends. However, I sometimes think they defend every aspect of a gay man's lifestyle without knowing what that lifestyle is really like. What's your take on this? Do lesbians realize that all possible aspect of the gay lifestyle are not necessarily healthy?

This guy I've been casually dating for about four months is pressuring me to be in a monogamous relationship with him. I have been up front with him since the beginning that I'm not ready for that. So...his new proposal is to give him a "partial commitment." What could this possibly mean?
