Honestly, Dear One, I didn't know I was gay until I met my Best Beloved. It was then I knew that this was the person I was waiting for. She just happened to be in the body of a woman instead of the body of a man. We've been together almost 26 years now. What "makes" me gay? The fact that I am sexually and romantically attracted to people of the same gender. I have always been romantically inclined towards my own gender...going all the way back to when I was just a child. I remember when I was told "boys don't kiss boys, boys kiss girls." and remember how upset I was because I didn't want to kiss and hold hands with the girls, I wanted to do that with the boys. Girls were cool and all, I enjoyed them as my friend, but I didn't have any romantic interest them. When puberty hit that is when the sexual feelings came into play. I was 15 when I heard the word "gay" with its defination and realized that "hey that's me, so there is a name for people like me and I'm not alone."

I am not gay I am bisexual but I have had attractions to both sexes all my life. I am not confused I am not greedy I am just bisexual. Nothing made me bisexual I just am. it is like having black hair or brown eyes or being 6 foot 2 inches tall. It just is.
Now like having brown eyes I can put on contacts and change the way they look but I still have brown eyes. I could pretend to be straight and do it all the time but I am still bisexual.

This is how I know I'm gay. I'm sexually attracted to other women. I get horny looking at nude women, or just imagining them nude. Just like a guy would. It's not something I decided to do. It's not something I can change. It just is. Think of it this way. Your straight. You know this because you are attracted to the opposite sex. You just are. You didn't choose it. That's just you.

I was born this way. I kind of knew as a child and in my early teens, but didn't really acknowledge it myself until late teens and then acted upon it. When I realized I enjoyed it, I knew that I was definitely gay

I just felt attracted to men, instead of females. It's basicly the same attraction that you feel for females, except it's with men.
