If gays were given all the same rights as married couples under the law but, It couldn't be called marriage. Say they called it Civil Union or something other than Marriage would that be acceptable?

I loved my bf. We had so much in common, you know those weird things that no one likes and understands as much you? 4 us it was dark novels, philosophy, art, David Lynch movies, the underbelly of history, food, and unheard of bands. I loved him, but I always felt like I was giving more to the realtionship than he was. He would never call to tell me something I didn't want to hear, like "I can't make it tonight"- he avoided conflict. To aviod conflict, he didn't commincate. Sometimes, he just didn't call. I was tired of being in love and always feeling left out. I'm the one who broke it up, but it was a matter of time unitl he did. We're still freinds. We have a great chemistry.
He's lives with his parents and isn't out to them. I believe that he comes from a dysfuctional home with strong catholic roots. I can understand that part him isn't mature enough to handle more than casual dating. I make exuses for him when he needs to grow some balls. But why do I still want him back?

I'm a single, straight woman considering having a child with a gay, male friend. This would be a co-parenting situation, i.e. joint custody. Has anyone else created this kind of alternative family? How has it worked? Positives and negatives. Also, do you know of any resources where I can get more information? Thanks.

Women say they dont like men who are passive , or shy . Or are too interested in getting in their pants . It would seem however if a man has those qualitys they would date him . Before choosing a guy who would help with house keeping for example ??

In the seventies, my older brother would smoke pot about once a year (on his vacation). He told me he had to stop alltogether because he would get a thc hangover the next day.
I thought he was crazy.
That is, untill I started cutting way down a couple of years ago.
Now, I smoke so seldom, that when I do....guess what? I get a terrible hangover the next day....sinus headache and all.
I have reached the conclusion that you have to smoke pot on a regular basis or not at all. I have decided to do the latter.

Browsing through this site, there are a lot of questions concerning sex, penis size, race, ect.

This is what I heard in real life (rumor, friends, ect.). So people can accept who they are and move on to other subjects.

Blacks - Known to the largest penises and very smooth and confident.

Whites - Known to be very attentive and give great oral pleasures

Asians - Known to have the hardest penises and are great at foreplay

Latinos -Known to be very passionate and high energy

Everyone content with their respective sexual labels.? Positive comments only. No bashing. Anyway, we are all human.

Every forum I visit seems to have a significant minority of Scottish posters. Am I imagining this? Or are Scots more likely to post on internet forums? If so, why might this be?Is their voice perhaps not given sufficient vent in conventional media?

.. .this terminology would only apply to Americans. If the black person is from, say, England or France or anywhere other than the U.S., what would be the proper terminology?
This question is from pure curiosity - no ill intent presented. I've just wondered this from time to time, and decided to put it to the question.
Thanks.

I live in Sturgis and have for about the last 12 years, every year hundreds of thousands of bikers and vendors and just random passersby are drawn to this weeklong event (more like 2 weeks if you ask me with all the crowds). My opinion of this rally is very harsh and I don't like having to adjust my life around this event that I don't even want to be a part of anymore. I know you are saying why don't you just move away and I would although it is not that simple, my whole family including my wife's family live here and life would probably be made hell for me because it would be my idea to move. I just want everyones opinion of this event positive or negative and if you have even heard of it.
