Gross... I remember in High School, one of my history teachers was explaining how the Vietnamese used "poonjavi" (or "poonjabi", I don't know about the spelling) during the war. That's when they put human feces on a really sharp stick, put it into the ground and cover it with leaves. When someone stepped on it, the stick penetrated their foot and the feces got into their blood stream. The bacteria from feces can be fatal when it gets into the blood stream, so most people died within a couple hours of stepping on one of the sticks. So I'm assuming a poonjavi prison match would be where they use feces-covered sticks or knives to fight. So when someone got cut, the area would get infected and they could die...
