its the same w/ red heads, some hair color has no other description

Some are still considered brunette because that's used to describe dark colored hair. But they're raven-haired. And red heads can be called carrot topped... but after that freaky funny man with that name...they disowned that phrase.

Light colored hair is blond, dark hair is brunette, and shades of red are, well redhead.

i haven't considered quite crimson hair. the closest i've got considered to crimson is auburn hair. "crimson hair" seems orange to me. i think of it in simple terms sounds greater advantageous than "yellow" and with the colour "yellow" will probably come jokes approximately having hair shade this is the comparable shade as pee... etc (youngsters could be merciless) on an identical time as "blond" would not have such issues linked with it different than the common "dumb blond" stereotype. and that i believe the above answerer, in French, the observe for "yellow hair" is in simple terms blond or blonde, so this is likely taken from the French. in simple terms like how the observe "purchase" got here into the English language, it grow to be based on the French observe "purchas".
