I am a 35 year old women who use to escort. I have been throught the entire drug thing with successful sobriety. And now im self employed. I would like to be able to help women (especially young women) get out of prostitution without a big hassel from law enforcement. Most of these girls have drug problems, and battered womens syndrom, and don't have much respect, or trust in cops. How could i set up a safe house for way ward women in this profession to get out and clean?

I really want to help out and volunteer at an organization something like pregnant teens or a womans crises center. I started to volunteer at a childrens home once but i have my own kids and i think it would be hard for me to handle mentally. i really feel like helping battered woman or pregnant teens would suit me better. those are things i feel strongly about and feel i can definitly handle. I just dont know how to get started or where to look. any suggestions?

I am a high school senior and I want to organise an alternative prom for my school. But I don't know if it would work. What do you think?

We (students, and someone to supervise) would go do yardwork for someone who couldn't do it, or volunteer at a soup kitchen or something. Then we would have a simple dance (that is, no dj or formal attire) where everyone would pay $5 admission, and that money would go to charity. People could bring their favourite cds and a snack to share. And a trusted staff member would collect further donations... if someone will spend $200 on themselves for prom, maybe they'd be willing to donate $50 or more to help others in need? All of the money would go to charity, and we would still have a really great time. Plus there would be no stress about looking good or getting drunk.

I think that the administration will love this (I go to a Catholic school, and we already do volunteer work) but I think that no one will go. So do you have any advice? Thank you!!!

i lied about being on tv to my very good friend.
i want to just quite seeing him and forget about it, but he's so great its hard to just forget about him after i did such a stupid thing.
