my cousin was attempting a new sport that he had never played before and was told that he sucked at it real bad, he didn't take it to heart but he wants to know some good comeback to say when someone mentions that he sucks at it. Any of you got comebacks to say when people tell you that you suck at something, don't say the usual "just ignore them" he's looking for good strong comebacks to say, something funny or that will make them shut up

Our love for our family and friends, of course.

I also love the sound of a river,

the beauty and grace of a butterfly,

rain on my face,

making love,

a glass of Merlot,

the purr of a cat,

the smell of cut grass,

great art,

and wonderful music.

The other side seems better organized and yet as dissimilar as this side, but, I think that some of them are really cool. I noticed that the other side is just as pigheaded as this side, but who am I to judge such a matter? The other side doesn't vote like this side, or seem to have gone to the same schools or even read any of the same literature as this side, but, this side memorizes its tenets almost as well as the other side. The other side may or may not have a drinking problem, but it is not as well exposed or hidden as it is on this side. The other side seems to really believe in what they speak of, just the same as this side, but with more,,,ardor. The other side probably gets more outdoor exercise, but this side probably gets more indoor exercise.
The only drawback,as far as I can see about joining the other side is that they don't have cool avatars.
Maybe, the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, until you get over there and see all those weeds.
What d'ya think?

When I was born, my father was a roman catholic and my mother was a maronite catholic. I know this would make me a roman catholic since I am what my father is. When I was 12, my father switched and became a maronite catholic since he attended a maronite church. At this point, did I become a maronite as well? The reason I am asking is that I have to know which one I am now to see what I must do (if anything) to get married in a Roman Catholic church. I am marrying a Roman catholic so I don't think being maronite will prevent me from doing this since he's roman and I know that after the wedding I will then be Roman. But I'd still like to know what rite I am now. Any advice on this would be great. Thanks!

Archelogical evidence is against a global flood, but what about a global event? It is possible for a comet to provide the water that is missing from the story which every culture has a version? We all know once it enters the atmosphere the natural balance is upset.

Depending on the size and if there is anything left...where do those pieces go? In the water? What kind of weather disaster would that create? According to Scriptures (Bible, Quran, etc) this wasn't a one day event but happened over a period of time.

Not everyone was an idiot back then...could other people have prepared or remembered Noah's rantings when it all went down? If all of the giants, monsters, wicked men, (which ever you chose to believe) supposedly died, then where did Goliath come from? David was SEVERAL generations later! Is it safe to say more than just Noah and his family survived?

Come one, come all! I welcome athiests because you keep us searching--Thank you!

1. You have to believe before you can understand. This way, no matter what you're told after you already believe, it won't make any difference, because you already believe. And no one can say it's wrong, because if they don't believe, they don't understand.

2. You cannot see god until you are dead, and if you don't believe before you're dead, it's too late. This way, no one will ever have to prove their claims, and people will be motivated to believe them "just in case."

3. Only a select few are allowed to speak for god, and it is only through their books that everyone else is able to hear what god has to say. How do we know god spoke through them? Because they said so.

4. If a claim in the holy book does not measure up to newly acquired knowledge, no problem. It instantly becomes a metaphor. This way it can never be wrong, because it's meanings can be changed.

I have come across a couple of websites that have strongly stated that Christians all over the world are making a big mistake by calling God Jesus. They say it is a massive error in the Bible and that using "original" and unaltered scripture the name of Jesus is actually Yahuwah. They insist that Jesus is a pagan name introduced into the Bible and into Christian doctrine by Satan using corrupt officials of the Roman Catholic Church hundreds of years ago.Do you happen to know if there's any truth in this and websites I can go to find out more?

Think about it, it practices free will, it asks us to respect every other religion like our own, it even asks us to respect atheist, then it doesnt want us to be pridefull of hinduism, so isnt that the liberation ? I mean hinduism doesnt want us to be attached to it, i mean i think i get it now, it want us to be human beings,

If im attached to it, then im attaching myself to one group of human beings which can cause seperation and double standards, this is explained by the VEDAS

Its asks you to practice something which is right, which means sanatana dharma, thats all

Oh well im human
