my cousin was attempting a new sport that he had never played before and was told that he sucked at it real bad, he didn't take it to heart but he wants to know some good comeback to say when someone mentions that he sucks at it. Any of you got comebacks to say when people tell you that you suck at something, don't say the usual "just ignore them" he's looking for good strong comebacks to say, something funny or that will make them shut up

As far as sportsmanship is concerned, its pretty usual for players, teammates, coaches, selectors, instructors to sledge. (Sledging: abusing eg; Why do you not run quick, did they do anal on you, last night?)

Yes, you use a witty comeback. But the best way to prove it is, tremendous training, and improvement in the game which comes with practice.

Good luck to him. :)

say,
"well of course I suck at this, I am good at so many other things that I have allow myself to suck at something."

"(laugh and say)... yeah I do suck at this. You picked the one thing that I don't do perfectly, congratulations!"

"i may suck, but you smell like and old guys sweaty underwear."....lol

"at least I'm not afraid to try."
"if we don't find out what we suck at, we don't appreciate what we're good at."
"at least I didn't kill anyone - this time."
"I did it so you can feel better about how you do."
"the other team pays me well."
"I made you forget about your own problems, didn't I?"
"well, I have to be bad at something. It's only fair to the rest of you."
