Where did you get the idea they were doing wrong or did wrong? How can one do wrong if in fact he/she is just doing exactly as designed to do. They only ate what they were designed to eat for reasons designed by the God of creation to complete his perfect plan.
My friend it is not a question of right or wrong, i56 is a question as to who is in control and who the guide and true leader in this creation.
Do give that some thought. and smile.

I beleive the quote is "the knowlegde of good and evil" which is very different from right and wrong. And there is implied a sense of understanding as well. For example, a child may know that they should not touch the stove, but they do not understand until they have been burnt. In the same sense, Adam and Eve knew that the law said they should not eat the fruit, but they did not understand the consequences un til they had tried it. Understanding is a much more valuable form of knowledge than just knowing.

The whole idea of creating "conscious" creatures like Adam and Eve was to teach them the knowledge of good and evil. The whole thing was planned, right down to the forbidden banana of good and evil which they were set up to eat (and did eat). Adam and Eve were not "punished", rather they were "taught" and were then "redeemed" at death by Jesus Christ who was planning to die later on to pay for the lessons.
These lessons are continuing for all of us, in Iraq, in our own homes, and everywhere.
So no, they didn't know, and we only barely know, about good and evil.

Yes.
According to the bible, they were "without sin," but they still had free will and they still knew they right from wrong.
The tree of life, refers to the knowledge of good and evil. Simply knowing it was wrong to eat from the tree, is not itself evil.
By eating the from the tree, they disobeyed God and it was that act of disobedience (and why they did it) that became the original sin. The tree did not give them moral awareness, as if they had none. It rather transformed this awareness from one kind into another.

Well if they didn't then God was stupid because he should have given them that power. Why would God leave a tree there that they can't eat, then allow (he's all powerful he could have stopped the snake) the snake to temp them into eating from the tree. Even though God had power to stop it he made ALL of us suffer for it? What a horrible thing to do and a childish explanation on how we feel pain. The bible is a child's story, it's hilarious that people get their morals from it and actually think these things happened.

Yes..They did...and it wasn't right and wrong knowledge...they already had this...it was the knowledge of Good and Evil...all good and evil....every bit of it....all at once...but, they didn't understand to what extent what would happen to them...and, they were "warned" thee was another tree there too, the "Tree of Life" and they did not eat of this one...but chose Good and Evil...and there was no faith in that tree, no love, no understanding, nothing...just "knowledge" ....without anything else...so, the quest for knowledge without anything else, still goes on.....Bye......

It seems unlikely that they were capable of understanding the difference. As for the warning "for in the day ye eat of it, ye shall surely die," that must have been completely mystifying to a pair of newborn teenagers (!) who had never seen death.

God warned them about that tree they should have listened. It's like sometimes were told not to do something and you think what harm would it do? there is nothing wrong with that, but you don't do it because you were warned.

They knew they were disobeying God. I don't think they understood the implications of it.
It's very often that way with Satan, isn't it? He entices us to do something that we know is disobedient, and only later do we find out what we've let ourselves in for.
