I should add that I don't mean that in any moral sense! (Although straight people are clearly on their way to Hell.)

John S: I don't know about that.
It certainly seems to be true that you're more likely to catch certain STDs from men than from women.
On this basis, however, a bisexual man should be less likely to catch an STD than a gay man, and a bi woman should be less likely to catch an STD than a straight one.

Don't take this question too seriously! It's intended with a light heart.

Nikki K: you're wrong! It's like asking if liking both cocoa and hot chocolate is better than liking just one or the other!

Being perfectly bi (50/50) can be very confusing and isolating, since you are sometimes rejected by potential straight and gay partners. Also, the lack of a visible bi community makes it hard for bisexuals to validate their own feelings.
Those who lean in one direction (i.e. an 80/20 or 20/80) tend to pick the gender they are most attracted to, and pass off as gay or straight.

As a bi guy, I think there are certain perks to being bi rather than straight or gay. It does widen your dating potential. On the other hand, sometimes being bi means that straight women are afraid you'll choose a man over them, and gay men sometimes judge you for not picking a side. So, there are pros and cons. I think the world would be a better place if people saw sexuality as a continuum rather than a black and white issue - think of the Kinsey scale. Then, you could be gay or straight, or right in the middle, but it would be just fine to be anywhere on the scale.

Well see you in hell honey :-) I believe it's nice and warm there at the moment.
I think there is no 'better' only difference. Sexuality is a whole spectrum. Live and let live.
But I will say this, ppl who puke because of stuff other ppl get up to in the privacy of their own bedrooms when it has no impact on them whatsoever, clearly have a psychological disorder and should get help.

"Any one else"? Which implies that you do?
OK what can I say?
Maybe a tongue in cheek sort of question?
As I can be officially classed as an 'old fa*t ' and a miserable old fa*t on top of that!
I'll just give my opinion, (I am also an atheist on top of all the above)!!
I have no time at all for homo's, male or female, and how any female could ever have a relationship with a feller that also goes with men, is just beyound my understanding, (nothing to do with religion) nothing to do with STD's!
Just the very thought makes me want to puke!

If you're not religious then you've just doubled your chances of getting lucky. On the bad side you've also doubled your chances of catching an STD so it depends on how you want to look at it!

I don't think it is a matter of what is better, but what works better for any given individual.
