If the price of sin is death, this raises some interesting questions. Holy mother Mary, carrier of the Divine Jesus the Christ, was concieved without sin (this is the famous Immaculate Conception, not, as many believe, applicable to Jesus but his mother), and was concieved so so that when Jesus was to be born she would not pass on the stain of original Sin unto the new-born saviour. Given that she was born without sin, and remained (occestensibly, being described as a holy Virgin) pure, why did she die? Further, if you maintain that at sometime during her life she must have sinned to result in her death, why did the only one who never sinned, and was born without the stain of Original Sin, have to die (we're speaking of course of Jesus himself)? The perfection of the sacrifice not-withstanding, could it not have been Mary who was sacrificed for the world's sins, since she too was without sin?

I just became interested in telekinesis and other forms of psychic abilities. The first thing recomended to do is make a PSI ball, yet I was never able to even remotly feel it or sense it. I was in a car this weekend and I tried to make a car swerve and it worked. I focused on the car and visualized a rope or energy connecting me to the car. When I felt like I had the "rope" in my hand, I made a fist like I was holding onto the rope tightly. Then I focused for 2 mins or so and then I swung my right hand, the one with the rope in it, to the right really hard, (I almost broke the glass), and the car swerved to the right, almost hitting the shoulder. I held my hand there for about a second then released the tension in my arm and the car went back into the middle of the slower lane. My question is this, Is what happened a coincidence, or a result of telekenisis, keeping in mind that I never was able to even feel my own psi ball, supposedly the simplist form of telekinesis. Thank you

...Bring your own Bran Muffins.

I just hit the lowly level 4, don't I get some kind of prize (like a bronzed Bran Muffin) or something?

Should this be added to my list of successes, or failures in life? LOL

And to keep this Q legit:

Is it a fallacy to believe that facts speak for themselves, or are they always interpreted according to a framework?

What is the best, most polite way to have them not come back?
I respect them and have no problem letting them know "thanks, but no thanks" - why do they keep coming back after I've explained clearly I am not interested?
I don't give money, I don't invite them in, I'm not a heathen(or can they tell?) lol - really - though, how can I make it respectfully clear I really don't want them to come back?

I had a friend who I would meet with once a week to discuss Christianity. I was only interested in learning more about the religion, but he kept pressing me to accept Jesus into my heart. It seemed that he only wanted to convert me, and he would disregard any comment I made suggesting the possible non-existence of God. Would you be the same way?

I never had a clear understanding to all the denominations. I, myself am non-denominational. Are the divisions due more to nationality or to the saints? Are the divisions of catholicism or christianity? I'm sure I can research and resolve this question myself, but I just wanted a more direct answer. Thanks

It was for a 5 year and the hat size was a children's 5-6 years so it was intended for children.

The phrase was "If it moves ride it" with no illustrations.

Did I just take it in the wrong way or should this really not be on a children cap?

Oh joy.
I get one scary threatening email and discover the sender knows WAY to much about me, it’s from having to much info on my old account. Then I got a phone call from a business contact telling me that their kid found a photo of me dressed provocatively and that they can’t in good faith deal with me due to incompatible philosophical views. It seems deacons in some churches don’t care for people that sympathize with Pagans, especially Witches. In short I just lost half of my annual income because a person whose family I’ve taken to dinner and Disneyland and bought Christmas gifts for has religious differences with me.

So I cut all ties between my old Yahoo email, which I’ve used for business for years now and created a different email for personal endeavors. Starting over isn’t bad, and I’ll find another big contract in time.

I’m sorry about the inconvenience for all concerned.

♥Blessed Be♥

Recently, I asked a question comparing the observance of 2 biblical commandments from the old testament (OT). Many of the answers I recieved suggested that laws from the OT could be overruled by laws from the new testament (NT). I got the impression that Christians believed that they must only follow the laws from the NT and not the OT.

Later, I looked at someone else's question and it was about creationism and evolution. Many of the responses to that question included references and quotations from Genesis, a book from the OT. This confused me because for my question, Christians said that the value of the OT had been diminished with the advent of the NT. However, when the evolution/creation question was asked, all of a sudden, the OT was intrepreted as a literally accurate scripture that must be followed at all costs.

So,...
What's the relationship between the OT & NT?
If the OT has a law not mentioned in the NT, must it be followed and vice-versa?
