scheidmann - i didnt ask you what you thought about what i was proud of, i asked you what you were proud of about yourself and apparently your self-esteem is so low that you must resort to putting others down in order to feel superior, which is very unfortunate. your attitude mimics that of a gradeschooler.

I am proud to be who I am regardless of whatever labels people care to put on me. These are only words and do not actually represent who I am as a complete human being. I am proud of the experiences that I have gone through; from the euphoria of winning a title to the pains of leaving everything I know behind for a whole new country that I now call home; I have experienced life on many different levels.
My pride also allows me to see the humility that is needed in order to connect with others on a deeper level. My pride does not make me a good or bad person but it does make me complete. Hope you find the answers you are looking for! Be proud!

I'm not proud of anything I was issued at birth or early childhood, like my bisexuality or green eyes. But I am proud of the fact that I can love and was able to settle with my wife, despite being inadvertently taught that love is a losing game. I am proud that I am compassionate despite having grown up without much compassion. I am proud that I have taught people that books are not the enemy, despite their early experiences. I am proud of every opportunity I have taken to help others. And I am proud that I manage the things that are wrong with me (for the most part) and am learning to use the things that are right.
