As I recall reading, the parents with the highest I.Q.'s tend to have the fewest children - generally one child, if any. Do intelligent people owe it to our society to have more children, considering the idiots and rednecks breed like bunnies? At some point, do you think concepts like "overpopulation" and "environmental damage" must be given up to ensure that our society is made up of more than just ignorant hicks?

0 = God made the Earth just as it says in the Genesis/other religious text

5 = God intelligently designed humans and it might have been through Evolution

10 = Evolution happened and God had no part of that process.

Hi,
I am looking for some help and advice. My gran passed away a few weeks ago and I would really like to try to speak to her through a medium.
Does anyone know of any mediums that would do a sitting of this nature.
My other nan died 14 years ago now and she was like a mum to me, I was devastated and just couldn't get over it, I went to a phschic fair and spoke with a medium who appeared to contact my nan, she told me things only myself and my nan would know! This comforted me a great deal.
Any serious suggestions are very welcome.

Evolution. I know we have all heard this a million times, but I haven't recived a valid answer yet, and quiet frankly if this is such a proven "fact" then it shouldn't be this hard to explain. If we evolved from apes there are a few things I want to know, and yes, one of them is why are there still monkeys.

A) Why are there still monkeys?
B) If humans evolved from monkeys. And humans and monkeys have been born at a constant rate for millions of years. Why are there no creatures in the middle of evoltion? I find it hard to belive that one day overnight a monkey turned into a human. Everyone says if takes a long time to evolve, so why don't we see any creatures in the middle of evolution, and please don't answer with "look in the mirror."

I am throwing an office party for St. Particks day and I need some ideas. It had to be a luncheon at the office, so no bar crawls or drinking, but I need something to get the employees at our other sites to come. Any sugestions would be GREAT!

1 = There is no God but there is a possibility.

5 = God exists but every religion has a part of that truth of God.

9 = God exists and only people who worship my God will get into heaven.

I'd like to know a few things. As an asian (chinese, specifically) girl living in China, I've been curious and have been searching on the internet. Why do/may so many of you believe in cultural/racial stereotypes? Is it because you were raised to believe as such, or you just stick to what you think because you know no better? I've seen unbelievably idiotic statements such as 'asian girls are submissive and exotic' or 'some chinese girls think fat guys are better because they are all thin so only fat men are powerful.' I'm only talking for myself, but there is no one who could call me passive.

I can't cook. I love debating. I'm Christian. English is my first language, with Mandarin and Cantonese following a close second. I'm independent. I'm a feminist. I'm easily angered, and I have little tolerance. Where does it fit into this ideal asian girl? I've seen many of you here talk confidently - and ridiculously about asians.

why have i found proof that docters prescribe it to people for this purpose in the presant day, and in the past. it has helped some,and not helped some, just like other prescription drugs some times they work for the person and some times it does not. help me i am confuesed. why does the general public think they no so much about marijuana, do they allso no every thing about the other drugs that the doctors are prescribing to people, side effects, and what they can do to your body. no they dont, but if you ask alot of people about marijuana they no it all, why is this.

I'm a senior in high school and I take a class called "Character Education". My teacher was constantly going on and on about helping others, so I said "When are we going to stop talking and take action? Let's go help out at a soup kitchen!" My teacher loved that a student actually cared enough to make this suggestion, and he asked our principal. The principal said NO. What? My school apparantly wants us all to be selfish jerks and never try to help. Shouldn't they be teaching us to care for others? How can I make my suggestion happen?
