I would say mystical rather than religious. I tried hallucinogenic mushrooms once and I experienced a heightened state of consciousness that might be described as spiritual.

Not sure if it was religious or not, but spent some time in the desert outside of Tucson AZ. Me and a good friend were on MicroDots about 2 hours into it. We were sitting by a wash (dried up Stream) when a hawk circling above flew down and landed about 5 feet from us. It stood on the ground, which was odd, I would expect it to perch on one of the nearby bushes or cactus. It stayed for around 5-10 minutes just looking at us, and didn't fly away when we stood up.
It was surreal, almost like it was trying to communicate with us.
At the time, and in our state it was really meaningful. Now I think it probably flew down to see if we were dying and to have a snack. Humans that far in the desert sitting down are probably in a world of trouble. It was a great experience though.

I have. While some Christians may think that this is the work of the devil, I think that alcohol lowers your inhibitions and makes you accept what is really happening. My pastor in fact accepted Christ as his savior while drunk in the middle of the night listening to Billy Graham on TV. And he never got drunk again.

No. And if you are under the influence of drugs/alcohol it is not truly a religious experience.

Oh, and that i did finally end up puking in the cop motor vehicle :D
