Magog was one of the sons of Japheth in the book of Genesis. Consequently, Gog and Magog are considered to be descendents of this son. Magog was said to be the prince of Rosh (Russia), Mesheck (Moscow), and Tubal (Teblinsk). It is believed that the Gog and Magog of the Bible is referring to the land of Russia which will come against Israel in the last days with the help of Persia (Iran) & Syria.
