Hi,
I am looking for some help and advice. My gran passed away a few weeks ago and I would really like to try to speak to her through a medium.
Does anyone know of any mediums that would do a sitting of this nature.
My other nan died 14 years ago now and she was like a mum to me, I was devastated and just couldn't get over it, I went to a phschic fair and spoke with a medium who appeared to contact my nan, she told me things only myself and my nan would know! This comforted me a great deal.
Any serious suggestions are very welcome.
Thanks

While I understand and sympathise with your feelings at the loss of your gran, I would suggest to you that consulting a medium in order to contact her would be a mistake.
One cannot contact the dead, I'm afraid, and those who claim to be able to do so often are taking advantage of someone's grief.
Take a moment or two every day to remember what it is about your gran that you loved. You will be closer to her that way than you would by consulting a fraudulent medium, and they will be your memories.
There's a wonderful book by C. S. Lewis called "A Grief Observed" that explores the nature of mourning. It has been a great comfort to me on several occasions.

Hi,
Sorry to hear of your loss.
I can understand that you got great comfort when you lost your nan before when talking to a medium, to know that she was ok, and I guess you would like the same reassurances about your gran - like you said, to get some comfort.
A good place to try might be your local spritualist church, where they may be able to help you, or recommend someone.
Or maybe if you have a "new agey" sort of shop near you, they might be able to recommend someone.
If on the off-chance you are in the Reading area, I know a lovely lady who might be able to help.
Take care
Ezoo
i have emailed her details to you

If this is the what you want to do then I would advise finding a medium from a spiritual church where I would assume they are more honest as they dont get paid for the work they do. Its a bit hit or miss as to whether you get a reading or not but I am sure most of them do private readings. As you have already visited a medium previously I dont honestly know why you are asking your question though.

"There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or ANYONE WHO CONSULTS A SPIRIT MEDIUM or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you." - Deuteronomy 18:10-12
Resist Wicked Spirit
These unseen, wicked world rulers are determined to mislead all mankind, turning them away from the worship of God. One way wicked spirits do this is by promoting the idea of survival after death, even though God's Word clearly shows that the dead are not conscious. (Genesis 2:17; 3:19; Ezekiel 18:4; Psalm 146:3, 4; Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10) Thus, a wicked spirit, imitating the voice of one who has died, may talk with that one's living relatives or friends, either through a spirit medium or by a "voice" from the invisible realm. The "voice" pretends to be the departed one, yet it is actually a demon!
So if you ever hear such a "voice," do not be deceived. Reject whatever it says, and echo Jesus' words: "Go away, Satan!" (Matthew 4:10; James 4:7) Do not allow curiosity about the spirit realm to cause you to become involved with wicked spirits. Such involvement is called spiritism, and God warns his worshipers against it in all its forms. The Bible condemns "anyone who employs divination . . . or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead."—Deuteronomy 18:10-12; Galatians 5:19-21; Revelation 21:8.
Since spiritism brings a person under the influence of the demons, resist all its practices regardless of how much fun, or how exciting, they may seem to be. These practices include crystal-ball gazing, use of Ouija boards, ESP, examining the lines of one's hand (palmistry), and astrology. Demons have also caused noises and other physical phenomena in houses that they make their territory.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I am wary of commenting but please take this in good faith. If your Nan is happy and now rests in the paradise appointed for her by which ever religion you believe in. Is it really fair to bring her from that place to be reminded of the troubles of the world.
If she was comfortable and sleeping on her chair would you wake her just so you can speak to her. Be content with the knowledge that she is resting. Speak to her and hopefully get comfort from her peace, as of she was asleep in the next room.
Hope your grief is lessened by whatever means you find appropriate.

Do not waste your money on people who claim to be mediums. They are parasites that feed on the grief and sorrow of people. They are among the lowest forms of life.
If your gran led a good life in which she sincerely tried to follow God, she is either with Him in Heaven or will be soon.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He conquered death so that death does not separate us from our loved ones. Your gran still lives in your memory and your love for her. In quiet times, speak to her as if she is still with you, because her spirit does live on. There is a part of us, our soul, that does not die. Ask her to pray for you as you live out your life.
Seeing is not believing; believing is seeing.

I lost my gran many years ago and felt like I was dead inside for months, she did visit me like she said she would in a scary but 'beautiful' dream. I think the best thing is to let her go... to rest in peace she will visit you evry now and again to let you know she is watching over you. The beautiful memories of her I keep in my heart.

I'm sorry for your loss.
There's no way to talk to dead people. They're gone. They no longer exist.
There are many people who will be glad to take your money, and in return, pretend to let you talk to her. For some of them it's their only source of income; they are very good at conning people.
That is all.
